Has he actually been linked by any legit media outfit?

Or is this just Forest look like they free-spending mugs, he's bound to get a berth there?

Apt description in one of the tabloids:

" If Ramsey were a super hero he would be 'the invisible man' but unfortunately for Juventus fans he is a player that, in three years living in Italy, has almost never been seen on the pitch

Ramsey's main problem is that of his fragile muscles and his predisposition to injuries.

He earned more than £7,600 for every minute he played in a Juventus shirt, which is more than Cristiano Ronaldo earned during his time in Madrid, who in the period spent in Turin earned roughly £6,760 per minute with an average of 30 goals per year for three years.

A disastrous loan with Rangers in Scotland means he has been sent packing back to Juventus"

Eeerrrmmmm think I'll pass on this one.

Have a sneaky feeling he'll end up at one of either Bournemouth or Fulham, if he does come back to England at all.

The disastrous loan was not one to play to be fair, it was one to get fit and put a player of his category in the Rangers dressing room for there Europa League adventures to help out.

Currently on £400k a week and not been in great form by all accounts.
I’m not seeing this as a starter unless he’s realistic on wages.
If Lingard's on 150,000 per week, similar wage should entice RamseyasForect can offer him regular football
I am sure Ramsey has a choice of Premier League excitement with Forest or sitting on the Juve bench and picking up his 400k for next two years?

I'd be horrified if we paid Ramsey anywhere near what we are paying Lingard, should we sign him (thankfully I doubt we will).

No more sicknotes please. These kind of signings never work out for us.

This is exciting news..... Ramsey is a scorer and a provider
The box-to-box midfielder we've sought after since Roy Keane left

He was all those things. He isn't anymore; he's injury prone and his best days are behind him. He'll go to the MLS or a desperate club with a scattergun recruitment policy anyway IMO.

I think I’d prefer Roy now

He is now a free agent as Juve have bitten the bullet and paid his contract off... £3.4m "golden goodbye".

I know I have been on my own but like I said when he was first linked I would take him if the money is right

He offers something nobody in our squad does and that is putting his foot on the ball and controlling games. And he really is excellent for Wales - as good as Bale, I haven't watched him at Juve but he went there because he was excellent for Arsenal that year too.

Zero question about his ability & you hope his attitude is right. But as mentioned he is injury prone & will he be looking to the WC - but again it's down to the club to make the decision on that risk. We wouldn't need him for every game. He is only a few months older than Steve Cook and he can play pretty much every midfield position.

He's someone with a bit of quality and lots of experience when you're trying to turn a draw into a win.
As for the £400k bit, when he left Arsenal, if he'd been fit all the time, it'd have been a real good deal for Juventus.

400k a week is £20m a year. He's been there three years more or less. He was worth about 40-60 when he left Arsenal in today's market, so they've not really had a nightmare.

What's exciting news? Have I missed something?

Any concrete reports that sicknote's actually linked with us (I mean linked with our physio)?
