IMO this isn't about Felipe, this is about Worrall, Boly and McKenna. None are starting EPL level.CB seems to have jumped to the front of our queue based on recent rumours. Hope this doesn't mean bad news about Felipe.

Agreed. Was very impressed with Boly when he was fit last season. You could maybe debate McKenna + Worrall, but how an earth is Boly not starting EPL level. He is very good whenever he plays, the only concern is injuries.
I think Boly, to me, just seems goofy[because English is a struggle for us Americans] - I don't feel comfortable with him back there, don't feel his ability to move the ball safely and effectively out of the back is very strong. And yes, injuries between all three (Felipe, Niakhate and Boly) has really impacted the way Cooper can consistently set up with three reliable CBs at the back, which I believe Cooper really wants. You could maybe debate McKenna + Worrall, but how an earth is Boly not starting EPL level. Fair enough. I don't agree at all though, Boly is a very good defender in my opinion.I think Boly, to me, just seems goofy[because English is a struggle for us Americans] - I don't feel comfortable with him back there, don't feel his ability to move the ball safely and effectively out of the back is very strong. Fair enough - I've been known to be wrong before. Once or always - pure semantics. Either way I continue to believe the center of the pitch is where we should be improving quality (CB, CDM and Striker).Fair enough. I don't agree at all though, Boly is a very good defender in my opinion.
I don't mean this to be rude but you maybe have to see him in person to acknowledge the sheer size of him and how difficult he is to get past/gets in the way of everything, it's the same with Dan Burn, you don't realise how effective they are until you see them in person.
Think most agree one each through the spine is the way, including keeper - I'd add the striker is perhaps the one we can spend less on.Fair enough - I've been known to be wrong before. If anyone for even a moment doubted your nationality mate, you certainly confimed it in that post.Fair enough - I've been known to be wrong before. Once or always - pure semantics. I am going to blindly and arrogantly take that as a compliment and sip some tea - ha, screw that, bourbon it is.If anyone for even a moment doubted your nationality mate, you certainly confimed it in that post.
And so you should. "Center" was the giveaway. Wild Turkey straight I hope?I am going to blindly and arrogantly take that as a compliment and sip some tea - ha, screw that, bourbon it is.
Wild Turkey? I am not Daniel freaking Boone, sir. Put some respect on my palate. 1792 straight tonight. It's a touch hot.And so you should. "Center" was the giveaway. Wild Turkey straight I hope?
boly ? You could say that about flatfoot worrall and his ronald mcdonald boots and maybe mckenna but not boly.IMO this isn't about Felipe, this is about Worrall, Boly and McKenna. None are starting EPL level.
Point well and truly taken. In which case, may I recommend Peerless Straight, a Kentucky Rye that I sampled, and was very impressed with the last time I visited New York?Wild Turkey? I am not Daniel freaking Boone, sir. Put some respect on my palate. 1792 straight tonight. It's a touch hot.
Maker's Mark is my preferred bourbon.Point well and truly taken. In which case, may I recommend Peerless Straight, a Kentucky Rye that I sampled, and was very impressed with the last time I visited New York?
I happily to bow to Apondaway's more educated (than mine) bourbon palate Bob, but I completely agree with you about Maker's Mark.Maker's Mark is my preferred bourbon.
But Wild Turkey & Buffalo Trace are both more than fine if you're on a budget.
Obviously in the U.S I imagine the have a wider variety.
Same. I'm not a big bourbon drinker and I must confess I struggle to differentiate between the £25 bottles and the premium ones.I happily to bow to Apondaway's more educated (than mine) bourbon palate Bob, but I completely agree with you about Maker's Mark.
