CB seems to have jumped to the front of our queue based on recent rumours. Hope this doesn't mean bad news about Felipe.
IMO this isn't about Felipe, this is about Worrall, Boly and McKenna. None are starting EPL level.

You could maybe debate McKenna + Worrall, but how an earth is Boly not starting EPL level. He is very good whenever he plays, the only concern is injuries.
I think Boly, to me, just seems goofy[because English is a struggle for us Americans] - I don't feel comfortable with him back there, don't feel his ability to move the ball safely and effectively out of the back is very strong. And yes, injuries between all three (Felipe, Niakhate and Boly) has really impacted the way Cooper can consistently set up with three reliable CBs at the back, which I believe Cooper really wants.

Fair enough. I don't agree at all though, Boly is a very good defender in my opinion.

I don't mean this to be rude but you maybe have to see him in person to acknowledge the sheer size of him and how difficult he is to get past/gets in the way of everything, it's the same with Dan Burn, you don't realise how effective they are until you see them in person.

While I don't mind the player, I personally would rather the 5m asking fee was invested elsewhere, but what do I know.

Fair enough - I've been known to be wrong before. Once or always - pure semantics. Either way I continue to believe the center of the pitch is where we should be improving quality (CB, CDM and Striker).

Think most agree one each through the spine is the way, including keeper - I'd add the striker is perhaps the one we can spend less on.

Agree with this.

I was sat directly behind him v Wolves in the 2nd half of the League Cup QF and he was absolutely immense.

I must have commented to my mate how impressed I was far too many times.

He's very under-rated.

Boly was excellent that period where he played 8/10 games. Made the game look easy and never really broke sweat, just seemed to read the game so well. He was also spending a lot of time coaching Joe - hardly ever stopped talking to him.
Joe and Scott are ok if they’ve got boly or fellipe alongside them - not as a pair or 2/3 if we’re playing 5 across the back.

I think it is a sign of failing in the market if we end up with players like Cresswell and Schmeichel on huge wages, and at the same time potentially help other teams easing their wage bills. It worked with Felipe and Boly, but failed with Wood and Shelvey. We should avoid taking punts on players with reputation and no resale value, it is a strategy will make it very hard for us in the long run.

If anyone for even a moment doubted your nationality mate, you certainly confimed it in that post.

Cresswell is a decent enough player but it's hardly a signing that gets you excited.

Unfortunately he'd be a significant downgrade on Lodi.

Point well and truly taken. In which case, may I recommend Peerless Straight, a Kentucky Rye that I sampled, and was very impressed with the last time I visited New York?
Maker's Mark is my preferred bourbon.

But Wild Turkey & Buffalo Trace are both more than fine if you're on a budget.

Obviously in the U.S I imagine the have a wider variety.

I happily to bow to Apondaway's more educated (than mine) bourbon palate Bob, but I completely agree with you about Maker's Mark.
