Principally, the difference is the duration of offences and the type of infringements.Could someone explain to me in layman's terms why your case was decided promptly while City's and Chelsea's will be decided next season?
I accept that this is factually true, but not that it is in any way just.Principally, the difference is the duration of offences and the type of infringements.
In Forest's case, it is a single PSR over expenditure/loss breach in one assessment period.
For Man City and Chelsea, there are multiple instances of infringing activities over multiple years, 14 years and 7 years respectively. It is not simply about how much they spent/lost, but how things were paid for and accounted for.
The documentation and legal work to prosecute the cases is therefore more complex and the audit and legal trail more convoluted.

Buy two eggs, but claim in the accounts that the eggs cost more than anticipated because ofCovidbird flu.
Forum would be a pretty boring place, although much quicker to read, if everyone just answered 'yes' or 'no'.
I don't think we have stayed up last season so difficult to say.Or if the points deduction takes us down would you rather have observed the rules and stayed up?
If it transpires that the Forest board put the points deduction into their equations I would be far less angry with them. However looking at our performances last season and the way we operate in the transfer market how anyone could come to a conlusion that a points deduction wouldnt seriously detriment us I do not know! We are bleeding lucky the 3 promoted teams are unusually turgid this season.Hopefully I've worked this out correctly.
We sold BJ to Spurs for £47.5 million in the 2023 Summer transfer window. Brentford had made a variety of bids including £30 million, £32.5 million (July 21st) followed by £35 million (July 24th). They also made a late bid of £40 million (August 28th). For us to have had any chance of complying with FFP we'd have had to have sold Brennan by the PSR deadline, which was June 30th, so those Brentford bids were irrelevant to us being in compliance. However, earlier, on June 14th, Brentford offered £25 million. I don't know if accepting that figure then would have kept us the right side of FFP as I can't remember by how much we breached it.
Even so, the difference between Brentford's June offer and what we eventually got for him in September from Spurs is £22.5 million. That's almost double what Brentford offered.
So, to our current situation. We're currently sitting in 18th place. We obviously need to finish 17th (or above) to avoid relegation. If we finish in 17th we'll receive £8.8 million in prize money. We would have to finish in 6th place (worth £33 million) to make up for missing out on the additional £22.5 million that we got from Spurs had we sold BJ to Brentford in June. We were never going to finish in 6th place, even with Johnson.
I think we should be happy to accept the 4 point deduction, knowing that as long as we stay up, we're in a better financial position by selling Brennan when we did.
Except that if we do get relegated due to the deductions - and I am certain that BJ would have helped keep us up - the club's position might be perilous.Hopefully I've worked this out correctly.

Precisely so why not apply sanctions to clubs when all charges to all clubs have been investigated?I accept that this is factually true, but not that it is in any way just.
You have to consider also that the player may well have been more ambitious than Brentford (I know I would be).Hopefully I've worked this out correctly.

I had the misfortune of meeting this prick on a few occasions. When I was younger my ex girlfriend worked at centre parcs and he often came in to put on classes. He's not the guy he portrayed on TV. Completely up his own arse, he thought he was some A-list world megastar and that it gave him the right to treat staff like scumbags. I witnessed it myself, arsehole.

Yeah that's the one Alf. My ex who lived at Forest Town worked there part time while she was at uni. I saw him a few times (backstage if you like) while we used some day passes that staff got. He was a regular there earning massive coin for it. He wasn't shy about telling folk how wealthy he was eitherEdwinstowe CP?
