He does and is a good addition to the cast, in fact FF have some of the least disagreeable contributors, which is quite remarkable given the amount of deplorables other podcasts seem to find
Aye, totally agree there Oobi.

Sadly not.

I have an extroverted Guinea Pig though, will that do?
Hmmm. The Guinea Pig might be a little bit too small, for the - ahem - manoeuvres involved…

FF is by far the best podcast imo.

It’s great when Darren Fletcher is on. Mark and Temps are decent. I even like the two fans in Greg and ???

They also have the best guests and don’t get pissed.

Wolverine’s show is sponsored by Nottingham Forest apparently. That and he gets money from comments, subscribers and views. Makes in excess of £100k a year I’d imagine. Not bad when you weren’t even a Forest fan a few years ago.

Meanwhile. Forest Focus is sponsored by the Navigation. The mind boggles.

🤔 Sometimes I guess ignorance really is bliss.

I'll take his leotard off and pop him back in his home. He'll be disappointed but I'll tell him it sounds like a sex thing.

Then give him a massive carrot to say sorry.
It was a famous post by one (in)famous poster (I am sure the thread in question is somewhere in the „LTLF Gold“ sub-forum) where the poster in question admitted - publicly - to having attempted to finger his own sister on a trampoline, and trying to pass it off as a wrestling move….

…naturally, it became something of a forum-meme, shall we say.

Sounds like he was from Newark.

I bet that prick wouldn't dare set foot anywhere near Nottingham Forest.

In my opinion this chap Mark on here, is one of the best. Talks a lot of sense and knows his stuff.

Very interesting stats too.
Totally agree. Mark is very insightful and provides really good analysis which he can then back up with stats. It’s added a different dynamic when he is on which I really like.

I think you're completely over estimating the amount he's getting out of YouTube. Yes you get paid on views as that's the ad revenue but not on comments or subs. On the amount of views he currently getting, he's probably seeing £20-£30 per upload.

Looks like he has a membership thing going on. Doesn't say how many are signed up for that but if you look into to views and the unique members on member comment only vids, I'd wager he's hardly broke 3 figures there.

He's not making a killing at all.

Where did the wolverine guy come from? swear he's only appeared this season or last.
I suspect Championship Nottingham Forest were little more than a passing interesting to him.

The PL will bring all sorts of people out of the woodwork. I noticed during The Spurs match at the weekend, there was a whole section populated almost entirely by Korean supports more interested in filming the players than actually celebrating the goal. It's why our supporter base is still pretty unique in The PL, in the main the stadium is populated by Forest fans who have been around for years.

Last season. If you go on his Youtube page you can now select oldest and see how it started with Wolverine doing some shitty transfer gossip thing with a Spurs and United fan. Then started focusing solely on Forest just after so June 2022.

The Athletic's 2-Star podcast was unsuccessful because there just weren't enough listening to make it viable.

At best, it showed Forest fan base was under-developed as a market for podcasts etc. There were a few with small followings, but nothing extensive.

So when promotion came, the expansion of interest was always going to highlight the gaps in the market. Whether that be Wolverine with his offer or Uti with his insight into players, etc.

On the one hand, I don't have a particular reason to prevent a neutral entering the space with a good offer. While on the other hand, gobshites like Wolverine offering an inauthentic conflict approach isn't welcome, even though I know its a format.

You can see that Focus, is trying to own a space that incorporates a type of legacy fan that probably prefers5 live to talkSport (I'm one of them) with a younger fan base that like the FPL stats angle and the US market.

This market is still in flux because the loyal fan base hasn't consolidated yet.

Wolverine will probably disappear as soon as we're relegated, and maybe even if we stay up.

I cant recall what point I was going to make, so /ramble
