It’s almost as if wing back is his favoured position..

Really happy for him that his form has picked up
I find it unbelievable that a player can look so uncomfortable in one position but completely at home in an almost identical one.

Neco finding his feet yesterday is as odd as a player being poor with one team and finding his feet after a transfer. Horses for courses springs to mind.

Makes you wonder why coaches keep playing a player in the position he doesn't like? I know some think a player should be able to adapt, but is there no one else in the team able to take Neco's place if he's not playing well?

This season has largely been about Cooper having to cover deficiencies in the squad (through injury) by trying to get players to showcase their elite characteristics whilst playing out of position. Our first 11 when the whole squad is fit is a match for any team in the division; but we’ve basically never had it all at the same time. We still don’t. Kouyate and Yates being out for so long is killing us in midfield.

So I’m not surprised players look reborn when we play a system that actually suits their elite characteristics!

I think it was the issues Richie had with our national team and TFC. Way too easy to wind up. HE seems to have control of that now. I 've always liked his pace, and he is decent technically. Sometimes his position sense is questionable too, much like Neco.
Richie scores again, second game in a row. Regarding the above comment, one might wonder why he's playing so far forward but I'm not complaining. Absolute nightmare for Toronto in this game and not a good advertisement for MLS generally but Richie's extra-time goal is worth seeing, as was Insigne's goal a few minutes prior, both after the five-minute mark of this highlight reel:

I used to play for The Dog & Duck, I reckon our team could have had any of those yankee pretenders.
