Well. Djed Spence wasn't trusted enough this season to play in the Premier League.

I think Djed has a lot about him and he can deliver, but when people disrespect Neco when these players are similar styles, it's just silly.

Djed in a back 4 would get f**ked in the Premier League. Let's be honest.

When he plays in a back 3, he's going to play better like Neco has of late.

I liked djed last year but he got what he deserved being too flashy and wanting to go to spurs for champions league football after 1 season in the championship instead of being loyal to cooper for getting his career going

We only saw Djed play in a back four for us on the odd occasion last season. He did alright against Liverpool in the cup in a hugely disrupted back line. He wasn't a defensive liability, he just had to keep a lid on his rampaging runs. He was also unanimously voted better than Neco Williams last year.

The disappointment on the night was that we had about 3 centre halfs injured so Cooper had to go with a back 4 so we lost Djed being able to go on his rampaging wing back runs. He was quite disciplined that night playing in a position he hadn't played all season.

FA Cup is different to the Premier League, unfortunately.

You could maybe understand the Gaslighting at the start of the season when people were doing it to cope with not signing Spence, but we've all got eyes and have seen the last two seasons unfold. It's mental.

DJed can’t get a game for Spurs so is untested at Premier League level. He now can’t get a game for his loan club.
Williams looked decent for Fulham in the championship but is getting shown up as part of a rookie team in the Premier League.

Of the Williams highlight reel. It reminded me of Danilo’s - Looked impressive in a lower level .
Djed’s highlights are better though (still in a lower level)

You’re the one who stated that Neco was at a slightly better level in terms of footballing quality. I think having witnessed Djed last season and Neco this gaslighting is quite the apt phrase.

I’m not accusing you of psychological abuse btw, just the memories or perception of reality bit.

Who knows where their respective careers will end up, neither of us might be here to witness it. All we can really judge it on is what we have seen from both players playing for our club.

I think it was the issues Richie had with our national team and TFC. Way too easy to wind up. HE seems to have control of that now. I 've always liked his pace, and he is decent technically. Sometimes his position sense is questionable too, much like Neco.
