Could the club not have a look into the striker's available on free's?..if he goes for a few mill that could pay a wage.if Taylor gets a whack and is out we could be up shit creek without a paddle.
I know we have Guerrero in and yes he tore us a new one last season but is he an out and out striker.i kinda got the impression he's more of a second striker.

You might be on something there I just had a look at transfer market and saw these names, it dosent mean they will come I just thought I would share.

That's an impressive list of names and proven to.i guess time will tell but it's gonna be interesting to see what the club does

CH will have been in this situation with players many times. He will no doubt, already know what the score is with Lewis. If he doesn't want to be here or sees one last big pay day in his career then good luck to him. Don't think Ch will want a pissed off Lewis Grabban around without his heart in it. So good move for everyone. Trust in CH to do what's sensible for club and player. If the rumours about the interest are true that is.

I don’t blame him, your only a footballer till your mid thirties, this is Grabbans last pay day. I would block his move though unless we can get a free agent. We shouldn’t be leaving ourselves short under any circumstances. It’s already poor we don’t have a backup number 10 but 6 full backs.

Sturridge - Another Matty Fryatt but on higher wages.
Pato - Would add a bit of entertainment to matches, i'd have him here but he's reported to want to go back to Italy.
Mandzuckic - Decent scoring record, wouldn't come here though.
Borini - Never scored more than 9 goals for a club, pass.
Niasse - No comment
Balotelli - Would bring the media here for a week and then again when he does something stupid which he does alot.
Doumbia - No comment
Maiga - No comment
Jackson Martinez - The Columbian Matty Fryatt.

Lewis was a great player for us last season. He made Sabri look like a managerial genius by regularly turning a few scraps of chances into goals, enabling us to win games by just keeping it tight. You don't discard a player who has built up such credit lightly. So even though he looks terrible at the moment I'd keep him, unless he really wants to go, in which we sell him and wish him the best.

My question is if we're planning on playing a 4231, then we need two strikers to compete for the role up top. If the Spanish lad isn't good enough to be one of those two, what's he doing in the squad?

He's still contracted though. It needs to work for us, or he can rot with the bum squad.

We've frozen out a 13m player, so Grabs & Al Bundy need to be aware that we not afraid of doing what's necessary.

Hopefully a serious offer comes in so everyone wins. Don't want us winging it until Jan, but we got away with it last year so fingers crossed we will again.

They need to be f***ing on it for n Jan though this time.

My concern is our transfer window is shut....so if we sell him how many proven strikers at this level have we left I know he’s not scoring at the moment but who else apart from Taylor do we have?

We’ve let go Da Costa and Walker already in the summer
