If we want to follow the 'Brighton model' then this is exactly the type of move we should be making. We need to be selling the move as 'come here, get some experience, then when a top 4 club comes sniffing in a couple of years you can move on if you feel you have outgrown the club'.
I'm not holding my breath by any means, but Fofana, Sangare and the kid from Benfica are 3 top class defensive midfielders. If we can walk away with any of these three I will be chuffed.

I just don't buy this at all.
It's like BJ and Brentford. There's no chance he got a new super agent so he could go to Brentford and not be on serious money. They don't pay top dollar for fees or wages.
So, if BJs agents were affirmative in encouraging bids, maybe they were just getting the signal out there to generate interest from the bigger suitors.
So perhaps, it's the same for Forfana. Everyone reads the player is up for a move, but probably not to Forest.

From my usual position of ‘glass half empty’ I‘m assuming we’re not interested in Adams - hence we’ve got bigger fish to fry & are strangely confident of landing one.
Yep, clearly got multiple hooks in the water for one type of fish (CDM) and it's seemingly not small fry. If/when we land one, the others will be removed and presumably we continue to look at other positions.
What I don't know is whether we can do a 40-million level transfer without offloading Brennan?
