It should actually be „large steaks“ or „big meat“ (or even „rich meat“.

I am unsure where „bulging meatpots“ comes from??

"Nottingham has been playing in the Championship since 2008, and the longed-for goal of all 24 teams there is clearly defined: the bulging meatpots of the Premier League"

Made me laugh
Has Ryan made the PL before us?

Strummer can probably confirm - is "meatpots" a German term for moneybags etc?

It should actually be „large steaks“ or „big meat“ (or even „rich meat“.

More importantly are we going to use it as a positive or a derogative?

IE is Steve Cooper a bulging meatpot or are Derby County fans?

Maybe it’s lost in transition, only with slightly less Scarlett Johansson?

Less Bill Murray and more Ryan Yates too.

Interesting read for sure. It's genuinely exciting to know that we have a plan to be sustainable and have the premier league described as a mid term goal, and not a spend until you make it derby approach.

I was just about to post this myself; a most enjoyable read for a Sunday morning and a fascinating insight into how Forest are run nowadays.

Georgios Syrianos is a fascinating character, and the way he explains the data-driven recruitment model, it certainly sounds impressive.

Can't face google translate Strummer-can you give us a synopsis-you know the interesting bits...

We only become stronger the longer we are in the process because money will be easier to spend.

We all know wasting money has been our problem recently, we are balancing old mistakes with a new outlook at the minute which is why a lot of players are loans.

Agreed. The amount of loans is like a sticking plaster, helping us strengthen in the short term until we assemble a squad that Cooper can develop over the longer term.
