Who is Nottingham Forest's Kasabian?

I like the way that some clubs have bands that seem to be closely affiliated with the clubs

Kasabian are Leicester fans, their music is played when they score (not necessarily a good thing).
My mate took me to a Leeds game and Kaiser Chiefs were in the program and their music was played during half time.
Man U play the Stone Roses before they come on the pitch (or they used to anyway)

I always thought that Chase And Status's Blind Faith (co written and vocals by Nottingham's Liam Bailey) would be a much better piece of goal music that Chelsea Dagger, but from what I gather this is fixed now anyway.

Anyway I was trying to look up famous bands from Nottingham and came up with Sleaford Mods? Can't see them playing a sold out gig at the City Ground when Chris Cohen lifts the Premier League trophy...

James Dean Bradfield of the Manic Street Preachers is a Forest fan.

He'll do!

Wasn't one of the Pogues a Forest Fan? Though not from Nottm.

We played one of their songs after goals for a few games and I thought it went really well. Pretty sure a chap from here campaigned for it.

Pogues, Editors, Tindersticks all have/had a Forest fan in the band. We don't have a Kasabian though, thank God.

There was also the roadie for Ferocious Dog. Doesn't like us any more though.

Yes, the guitar player Phil Chevron, who died in 2013.

We should bring back "Fiesta".

To a degree, yes, he's really a bluebird but did adopt us as his second team, because they were shit at the time

I think you are confusing Cardiff City with Cardiff Blues the Rugby team who JDB is a fan of.

He is a genuine Forest fan.

Mr C (first name yet to be decided) is right, pretty sure. Bradfield was definitely a Bluebird when Cardiff were in the Premier League. I've also seen/read an interview where he said had a season ticket at Luton Town at some point. He's not a real Forest fan. He adopted us for bit when everybody liked Forest, we had a young team that played nice football, played at Wembley and were nice to the ref.

I've met a few in their late thirties/ early forties in London similar to that who now support somebody like Spurs.

Chris Urbanowicz left the Editors, I'm sure the singer is a Villa fan if I remember right.

I think one of Sultans of Ping FC was a Forest fan...

The title of the song "Give Him a Ball and a Yard of Grass", which appeared on their first album, is a quote from football manager Brian Clough about Nottingham Forest player John Robertson, and the song contains several more of his sayings in its lyrics. This was given away free with a Nottingham Forest Fanzine as a one track flexi-disk.

I tried to search if Sleaford Mods were Forest or County, the singer doesn't even like football...
