Ignoring the rights and wrongs of the massive salaries paid to the squad, this sort of publicity is not going to help DF recruit any decent loan players during the current window.
Late payments to suppliers, HMRC, players and staff are not something that ever happened back in the day.
Can you imagine Cloughie's reaction to the shambles that Fawaz and his Head of Finance and Admin have created?
It brings the good name of Nottingham Forest Football Club, and its glorious history and reputation for playing open, attractive and sportsmanlike football into complete disrepute.
Whether it is Percy grinding some metaphorical axe or not, it is totally and utterly unacceptable.
Imagine turning up at the Gate and saying "Let me in, I can't pay until next week because it is a Bank Holiday"... the gatekeeper's 2 word reply would have Off as the second word.

Just the 'Arab way'. Oh, and the lack of a proper administrative structure at the club. Still. This lack of on-site board of directors is I imagine unique to NFFC anywhere in the Prem/league. And I think it is the major barrier to future success. We need a 'football man' running the club. Before it is too late. IMHO.

That's a football matter though mate. Ensuring that wages are paid and bills settled is purely administrative.
We could bring someone like Mourinho to get us out of this division in the right direction, but it wouldn't be his responsibility to ensure that wages are paid on time.

My old company paid me a day late once, I don't remember it being in the papers.
If the players can't go one extra day without payment (and if they were paid today, Tuesday, it would only be one day late) then they should learn to manage their money better. Also there is many a game in the past that the players haven't turned up to and still been paid.
It's the admin staff I feel for - except perhaps the one who failed to process the payments, of course!
