Bosingwa is wrong there too,
mind. Redknapp has won a trophy.

He also claimed to have turned "unknown" Ian Wright down before he went onto sign for Palace and score 40 goals in a season

Fact is Wright had already been at Palace three years before 'arry claims he was asked to trial him.

He actually talks some sense in this interview....

Oh he does talk sense, a lot in fact, just this autobiography seems to be him re-writing history.

If you want to talk about the good Redknapp points, search YouTube for the video where in a press conference with him and Lampard aged 17 a journalist basically called Frank a no hoper and questioned his decision to play him. Redknapp dismissed this and claimed Lampard was a fantastic talent and going to the very top! How right he was!

Never realised he was 67, why on earth put yourself through the mill at that age. The pressure on management must be enormous, with his experience and knowledge, never mind what wealth he has accumulated over the years, he must be thinking somewhere enough is enough, for full time working. He must be an attractive proposition for a part time behind the scenes type sage, for a south coast side.

Allowed to live his own life, bit of media work, he got it made.

I remember one of PA's to a Director of a very large corporation I worked for once telling me that the Directors seldom wanted to retire because they lost all their clout in society. As a Director of this particular company they were worshipped and feted and they could get whatever they wanted with just one phone call to the right person. After they retired they lost all that power.

In his book I think he alludes to working back at Bournemouth again in some capacity. So he can be at home.

Ironic that it's Redknapp bemoaning the FA's decision making, as not hiring him was one of the best decisions they've ever made.

The illiterate twat is completely over rated. Without a chequebook he is f**ked.

He gets by because, just like Terry Venables, he plays the chirpy cockney barrow boy part well and keeps the press on side.
