Quite sad it looks like his career trajectory is going to be the bottom two leagues at very best going into his peak years

Maybe he just isn't very good?
Has all the hallmarks of a player who has given up on football after a few setbacks. Not that I know that for certain, just how it looks.
Maybe. But he clearly displayed some talent at times.
To be fair to Tyler, he has never scored a critical own goal.

So many players who break through to the full professional game have high levels of technical skill.
Without that they would never get to be professionals, such is the competion for contracts.
They will also have the heart/lung/muscle capability of being trained to the required level of fitness and stamina.
What determines whether how well they will do in their career is the mental strength.
If their mentality is fragile, they will be far less likely to really kick on and become a top class pro.
dessie must be so dissapointed at how lackluster career his son has had and what it could have been during forest promotion at wembly.
Why would Des be disappointed? Just because he had a career at the top-level it doesn't follow that his son should too.
Tyler has made a decent living from the game so far and still has a few years to make a name for himself.
I've always wanted to know about the transfer 'list'...Been put on transfer list by Coventry.
Yeah, Grabban was a waste of money wasn't he...We should have backed and nurtured him instead of spending £20m on Grabban & Carvalho

He scored 16 goals for Lincoln in half a season in League One, which suggests he could do a job at that level. The Championship seems to be a step too high though unfortunately.Such a shame what has happened to Tyler since he left us. It does seem like L2 is his level unfortunately- still he can still have a fantastic career at that level.
