For Adams, leaving Leeds to sign for Forest would be like leaping from the frying pan into the fire.

Why should he?

Look elsewhere.

Would you prefer living in Liverpool?
Haha, good one. But I imagine he'd be living in Cheshire? I've actually been to some of the estates London-based footballers live in and it's all much of a muchness: gated communities in the countryside, dull-as-f*** houses, but with *multiples wings*. And living in London, I'd be happy to trade it for any other big city, or even a small one, but not Stoke. But, then, I'm not a young footballer.

Liverpool and Manchester are both fine, imho.

Neither training ground is in Liverpool, Footballers in these parts tend to live in West Lancs around Formby/Burscough (e
LFC) or ot NW Cheshire (EFC) and some as far as Altringham.

Yeah that area north of Liverpool is nice. Formby / Southport.

Where are the Everton / Liverpool training grounds out of interest? Is Liverpool’s called mellwood or something?

Or perhaps he and his family are settled down south and he doesn’t need to up route anyone to move clubs?

It’s not just about the individual it’s about the whole family and team involved who may also like that location. It’s probable that there is a larger community of his natives in London than the north

I just don't get why we would go for him if it's true that he's not going to start training until late September, he'll need a month to get up to speed after that as well. We haven't got the depth to wait that long like Chelsea could've done.

Melwood was Liverpool's old training ground. They have a purpose built complex out in the edge of Kirkby they've been at since 2020.

Everton's Finch Farm, a couple of years older, is by Halewood.

I’d much rather live in Cheshire than London if i was a footballer.

Living remotely near London sounds like hell to me.
I have colleagues who really hate it, but I've spent half my life here and survive, despite not being especially durable. I try to get out of town when I have energy/time and hope to retire to Notts or nearby, but it doesn't have to be as hellish as some folks think. M25 can be a PITA, though.

We'll be feasting on Jonjos Aug 31.

You just wait, Ross has us covered. (My week of laying off his case has officially ended.)

The DM, pivot spot could be a frustrating one. It feels like we are waiting on Sangare and hoping to all hell the back ups don’t go in the meantime.

Would be a shame to lose out on a player like Adams in the pursuit of potentially too ambitious targets - can’t blame Forest for aiming v high though, so tough to critique the approach.

I don’t know whether Forest have already had words with the player and he’s said he isn’t interested, but seeing as he’s the exact type of player we’re targeting it seems really odd to let him go to Bournemouth without putting a bid in.
I think this is it - expect villa might have an interest too.
