As a Forest fan when we beat you last season I had many a glory supporter I meet regularly going about my day giving me the "go on then, say something" or avoiding me... I learnt many, many years ago supporting a shit team you never gloat because football always has a habit of biting you massively on the arse

It's very true and it's the cycle of being a football fan. You'll be taking the piss one day and 4 days later you'll be on the receiving end of it.

The issue is the bigger better teams are less likely to be on the end of bad results so the interaction is less between sets of fans. This has a result their fans missing out on part of the entertainment and also generally gets more uppity when something goes against them.

As long as it's in jest it makes it all worthwhile.
