The more I see this the more it fucks me off what he did. And putting the penalty aside VAR just needs to do one as well and this is clear proof why it doesn't work.

It was brought in to get rid of errors & cheating and it's failing massively on both, causing more agro amongst players/fans/everybody in the process.
It’s actually actively creating even worse cheating.

I don’t get how Liverpool got either of those 2 penalties but Newcastle didn’t get one right before the 2nd which, similar to Yates v Bournemouth, looked much more a foul and less of a dive than the Liverpool ones or the one we conceded at Newcastle.

How are refs still buying these fouls? There’s no way that tiny little touch knocks you over or off balance to the point of throwing yourself to the ground in that matter.

The thing is VAR are stepping in when there is a penalty that might have been missed but when a pen is given that might not actually have been an offence, they are nowhere to be seen.

You can be sure that if VAR had called him over to look at the Jota dive again, he would have reversed his decision.

After Isak dived to win his penalty against us, Jota yesterday added credence to the old adage that 'these things even themselves out.'

I've watched too much football that last few days, weeks or whatever it's been.

I'm so tired of Alan Smith.

Brighton needed Mitoma badly. So much quality possession but ultimately needed someone to provide a bit of magic. Gross and Gilmour though, those are 2 of the best players in the prem imo, I know everyone rates Gross but he's still underrated. To be honest he's exactly the player we could use in our midfield

Thomas Frank at Brentford has to be under some pressure.

Will Burnley be OK with getting relegated with Kompany after the money they've spent?

Hodgson will probably leave Palace at the end of the season.

Pochettino will do well to keep his job while struggling to get a top 10 finish with Chelsea.

Howe is on a dreadful run with Newcastle and the Saudis will be looking to take the next step forward.

Ten Hag's season at Man United has been miserable, with their worst year since 1930 and dissent in the squad.

Several of those will be gone by Easter, I reckon.
