In what world is that Man City player not offside?

He has to get out of the way of the ball. You can see the keeper pause because he’s there.

The obvious question is, it happens at the other end?
I just can't get my head round it.

They have absolutely f**ked the offside rule now.

It needed to change a little but now it is beyond stupid.

I still don't know how the 2nd utd goal was onside last week. People say it was OK but I still don't see how it could be.

If it is right then it is absolute bollocks.

Neither of these teams look like title challengers, IMO. City will win it at a canter this year.
At this rate, City will have the title in the bag by the end of March, at which point Erling Haaland will retire to his yacht in Monaco harbour for the rest of the season.

How clever would McGuire actually be if his head was filled with brains ? ……

Gotta be talking Hawkins and some surely.

He's rubbish. Genuinely gobsmacked that Arsenal paid £60m or whatever it was after how gash he was at Chelsea.

He isn’t rubbish, but he really only has one position in which he works, as an attacking midfielder with one or preferably two strikers ahead of him, who he can pick out with his passes.

Neither Chelsea (who laughably tried to play him as a striker, which he’s never been) or the Arsenal have gotten his Bayer Leverkusen Form out of him as yet.

He is crap Strummer.

He's played in several positions in this country and has looked crap in every single one.

Just not a good player. I thought Arsenal could be a good fresh start for him but he looks the same player. They'll be regretting signing him.

That's exactly why I'm so angry. All you want is consistency. That's supposed to be the whole point of VAR.

To make the correct decisions on a consistent basis. This is just utter bullshit.
Exactly why I've just looked on the thread...

This one was properly looked at and rightly overturned. Forest away at United, nothing.

Cooper should be absolutely fuming now. Contact in both penalties were almost identical - nothing!!

Have a feeling Liverpool will be closer to Man City this season.

Spurs and Arsenal will probably fight for 3rd and 4th places. West Ham, Man United, Villa, Newcastle, Brighton competing behind that.

Nah, I stand by it. He's crap.

He's had long enough in this League now to show something more than he has.

I honestly think Brighton will end up finishing top 4, if not 2nd.

I'm not sure anyone will challenge City this year

Sadly, it's looking that way at the moment.
