that fourth goal by Man City sure looked like a dangerous lunge for the ball against teh keeper. A couple of inches the wrong way and he would have broken the keepers jaw

Obvs not dangerous play according to var
Unlike Cunha last night - clearly much more dangerous 🙄

No idea how that wasn’t a penalty. I hope they don’t get away with things like that on Sunday (but of course they will…)

“Manchester City are unbeaten in 30 games in all competitions (W24 D6), making them the third English top-flight side to reach that landmark after Nottingham Forest (40 in 1978) and Manchester United (twice - 34 in 1993-94 & 33 in 1998-99).

The last team to beat them (excluding penalty shootouts) were Aston Villa on 6 December. Villa moved above City with that win.”
Just read this on the BBC website, it’s nice to see us being recognised as the first team to do it but, losing on penalties is still a loss, Shirley?
Everything about the Premier League just seems to be so contrived.

And yet Brighton have a penalty shout turned down for an arm pull and kick on the back of the leg.

Doesn’t “meet the threshold” though.

It’s utter nonsense. They don’t know what they are doing.
They know exactly what they’re doing.

I was wondering which team will get shafted by incompetent officiating today, so I cconsulted the bookies:
Wolves 3/1
Man Ure 8/1
But odds on favourite is still Nottingham Forest... and we aren't even playing, but the Wolves screw-over means Luton are awarded 3 penalties (none of which are) to beat Wolves 2-3 get 3 points and we go into the relegation places, and the Man Ure (outside possibility) experience a shock defeat to Burnley (goal blatantly off-side, and Barkley clearly handles before putting the ball into the net) bringing Burnley level on points with Forest.

"David Moyes is done" says Rob Green on the BBC text as West Ham are 0-0 v Liverpool after 24 minutes, in 8th position just 1 point off Newcastle and a European trophy in the cabinet last season.

I don't mind West Ham, there's still a bit of a community roots feel to them, but they're lapsing into the same entitled ungratefulness that you see with their big neighbours. It's a results game and Moyes has done them proud.

Half a foot offside and it’s taken 3 minutes

Clearly off from a simple replay.

What was the point of drawing lines?

And, of course, the crowd was told absolutely nothing.

I'd snap their hand off for Moyes
