Trevoh Chalobah (BUPA)

MagicalQuakers

just happy to be here
Loan deal with an option maybe - £25m seems steep, as others have said a forward would make more sense to splash cash on.

He played under Coops with CHO, MGW et al didn't he? What's he waiting for?!
Think he did, not 100% sure

Can't do that, we've exhausted our PL loans IIRC.

I’ll take him if his Bayern dream dies. Don’t have an issue with a player initially pushing for that move. Not like he’s picking Barnsley over us.

Can’t loan him as we loaned one from chelsea already. Sounds like he’d rather stay and fight for his place

EXCL: Tottenham approach Chelsea to ask for Trevoh Chalobah on loan deal, no green light from Chelsea, difficult due to rival + formula of deal 🚨⚪️ #THFC

Complicated deal while Forest still trying to make permanent deal happen for Chalobah but no green light player side.

Shame about this one.

I reckon this is a player link we see again in the January window. Will be a CB we want in the fold moving forward. Fits the criteria. He’s wasting his time at Chelsea.

Interesting that it seems we were pushing hard at £25m for Trev, and ended up getting the Irish lad O'mobamidele from Norwich for £11m suggests that we have plenty in the pot for January.

Reckon the Brennan money might last almost as long as the Gunter money

Forest are magic on and off the pitch!
We should have a good amount of flexibility in the transfer market moving forward. The Johnson sale going straight into the books means we'll have technically made a profit for this summer.

Suggests we have a little left over in the transfer pot then, considering Omobamidele was less than half of that.

I’m hoping that now we have genuine options all over the pitch we we just see little tweaks to the squad here and there in the next couple of windows.

If most of these transfers work out, I reckon so. If all goes to plan, we'll have a strong squad to work with without the need for wholesale changes going forwards.

Get to the self sustaining stage, then ground redevelopment can begin.
