I don't see a poll, as in one a can vote in. But there again I am on my I Pad.

Is there meant to be one?

The transfer window isn't over yet.
Premature thread.

Whittingham for me.

I know Billy has come out and said Hobbs wants to stay blah blah blah, but that's nothing comparing it to the way Mark Arthur spoke about Whittingham's desire to play for Forest!

Has Hobbs signed for anyone else yet?

The important question is will Hobbs be on the bench or start on Sunday?

Shorey was the most disappointing.

So actually it's a transfer failure poll thread failure

Odd idea (and yes more than a little bit premature) but looking back I think you missed the biggest one - George Boyd.

Perfectly good player with seemingly perfectly good eyesight who gave Hull the spark they needed to mount a perfectly successful promotion to the Premier League.

Our medical team should have gone to Specsavers.

I wish people would drop the Boyd thing
He didn't fail any part of his medical
We didn't sign him as we were not issued with his medical (opticians) history
Or so I read

Shorey wasn't really a "balls up". We wanted him. A Prem team wanted him. Prem team got him. That was just frustrating. But understandable. Look at his career now, if he'd taken the chance of getting promoted with us and didn't, he wouldn't have had a few years playing Prem football and on Prem money.

Well if you read that, it must be true then

Well yes... Pinch of salt and everything
But we have admittance of need for contact lenses and non 20/20 vision from Peterborough

And our Fawaz's explanation - with physio opinion (we trust the physio don't we)

Well prattingham never actually played for us nor did anyone claim they had signed. Whereas Hobbs has been here 6 months and the owner said we'd signed him so it's no competition really.

The great Willy fatty Foulkes transfer collapse of 1923 still leaves a bad taste.

Seriously, too many to choose from.

Shorey was the most disappointing.

Shorey wasn't a transfer failure. He was on loan and the loan came to an end, very different.

As mentioned earlier, it's the fact that he's been here for so long and we knew what an integral part of our back four he had become that makes the apparent loss of Hobbs so bloody annoying and quite frankly embarrassing given the white lies that our Chairman and Manager have been spoon feeding us. And now I hear he's going to end up at that cheatin' bindipping lot, I'm not just embarrassed but livid.

It's not the biggest ever cock up mind....that'll be Roberto Baggio.
