Interesting earlier post from someone; something about people having to invent reasons to get rid (referring of course to Psycho but oh-so-cleverly (not) harping back to the previous manager). Three things;
1. nobody had to invent anything to get rid of the last dick'ead. He did everything he needed to do to bring that about himself. Rumour has it that he manufactured the situation himself and went through long spells of not talking to Fawaz. Great shame, because he actually built a very good squad.
2. following on from 1. Psycho won't need to build a new squad; he has the basis of a great squad already - just needs tweaking. One or two signings perhaps. Why should this fortunate situation put psycho under any extra pressure? The game is all about winning. And he was a winner. He didn't show any pressure as a player. Did he?
3. If (and it's a big if, we do reach the play-offs, it's likely we'll play Direby. We all know who might give us a little bit of an extra edge in the changing room/on the touchline. Dare we ask Psycho to start a smidge earlier in that situation?
