It's all about mid-table...
Loved that, miniscule tv money then.
Now turnstile money is just a bonus for the big clubs.

Thanks for the heads up Otis. That site is not fit for purposeLike the f***ing idiot I can sometimes be, I just clicked onto a shameless click-bait piece on Nottingham Post-online which clearly implies that a new timeline has emerged, only to discover a re-hash of previous re-hashes. Be warned!
How Clapson and Davies have the nerve to put their names to it (along with all of the other shit they routinely churn out) whilst describing themselves as journalists is nothing short of laughable.
It’s really weird because it only exists to make money so surely being good would be a better business plan? Thanks for the heads up Otis. That site is not fit for purpose
Great clip, thanks for posting that.
Some brilliant old footage of the ground here from the late 70s before the Clough/Executive Stand was built, interspersed with some very insightful comments from the man himself where he foresees the advent of all-seater stadia many years before it became a reality.
It's telling that the Main Stand looks exactly the same there than it does today, right down to the numbers on the plastic seats. If ever evidence was needed that this club has been criminally neglected over recent decades...
I couldn't agree more. The entire NottinghamLive site appears to be staffed by NTU media-studies interns who seemingly spend all day trawling the internet in a desperate search for potential content, overseen by a handful of senior so-called hacks. Thanks for the heads up Otis. You do the students of Nottm a disservice, OtisI couldn't agree more. The entire NottinghamLive site appears to be staffed by NTU media-studies interns who seemingly spend all day trawling the internet in a desperate search for potential content, overseen by a handful of senior so-called hacks.
Will it's been scientifically proven that the average attention span is now literally less than a goldfish, so that goes a long way to explaining things.Great clip, thanks for posting that.
I love watching old interview clips. Especially of Clough, obviously, but there's something about old TV interviews that we've lost today. They're much calmer, more measured and thoughtful. Perhaps it's the editing (or lack thereof), or more just the slower pace of life in general.

That means if you haven't hooked the viewer by about the 8 second mark, they're likely to flick to something else.

Same one I think, just had a bit of a makeover with some red signage.I noticed that TV/media box at the TE/PT stand corner in brief flashes the other day. It appeared to be a much more detailed and designed structure than usual from what I could catch if it. Is this a permanent structure now rather than the ad-hoc to temp one that's been erected previously?

I think it's there semi-permanently now rather than when we were in The Championship and they use to put it up on a game by game basis.I noticed that TV/media box at the TE/PT stand corner in brief flashes the other day. I've not seen them. Any pictures?Anyone else think the new LED bulbs on the A Block floodlight pylon look really weird? They aren't grandeur enough for their polls and look lost.
Just me then.
