YES! (just you)Anyone else think the new LED bulbs on the A Block floodlight pylon look really weird? They aren't grandeur enough for their polls and look lost.
Just me then.

Me too but a big advantage of being so high up is the sun doesn’t get in your eyes! The only tickets I can get are so far up the Clough stand that I haven't seen the floodlights all season
Watt good enough for Nottingham Forest?Anyone else think the new LED bulbs on the A Block floodlight pylon look really weird? They aren't grandeur enough for their polls and look lost.

Given that the lights will eventually be on top of the new structure, there's no option other than sticking them on the pylon. How aesthetically pleasing they look would never even occur to me.Anyone else think the new LED bulbs on the A Block floodlight pylon look really weird? That was one of the provisos to planning permission being finally granted, although I expect there's nothing to legally prevent the two parties coming to an agreement of some sort regarding time scales. If I recall correctly they can’t start on much until the boat club nearest the ground is fully relocated.
Evidently this joke never grows old...„Yes, nice boats you have there? I also like boats, big boats, like tankers, yes? It would be a shame if something happened to your boats. Like they caught fire. Or something, yes? Maybe you should move them. Quickly“.
I don't know whether it's still the plan or not (or even if it ever progressed far enough to become the plan). But at one point the discussion was that we'd redevelop one of the sheds behind the BC stand as a replacement. Which seems like it should be a last resort option for me - if the BC stand is ever to be redeveloped then putting a new boathouse there would only complicate matters.Just speculation but i imagine a lot of the work is easy to do as a boat shed is just that. It's easy to build etc and planning should be straight forward.
As I mentioned earlier in this thread, the challenge will be the site. It's hard to think of a good piece of land along the Trent within the Nottingham Reach where a facility could be located.
Once the site is acquired everything else should follow quite quickly.

There is a tunnel under it from a secret entry point under the PT stand which is containing increasing amounts of TNT as supplies can be sourced. If I recall correctly they can’t start on much until the boat club nearest the ground is fully relocated. Anyone know how that’s progressing?
Tbf I wouldn't go anywhere near the Trent. People have been exploding from both ends for years after going in there...Is it not just easier to sit round a table with the boat club lot and just explain sensibly that pissing around on a river is for dicks?
