Also why dont we try something out of the box, why dont we say to the council look help us build a new tram stop in a location thats more desirable to Forest. That has direct trams straight into town. I think I can tolerate being out of town if absolute neccesary if its a 15 minute or less tram journey to town. Also as well they need to make sure they put enough trams on. There seems to be a lack of creativity from all sides here.
As long as the council remains under the sanctions of their section 114 notice, they won't be able to invest in new infrastructure projects.

The tram extension to Clifton cost nearly £200million. We might as well pay for the lease if a new line somewhere is the alternative option.

You have to be open minded with these things and not be overemotiotnal and try and stay rational as possible. I have to admit trying to get a ticket is getting me down big time that to me is worse than not playing at the City Ground. So something needs to be done. We all have to accept that.

My uttermost preference is expand the WFCG to 50k. Thats my ultimate ideal, however and we dont know the true story if the council is playing silly buggers than we may have to look at alternatives.

However if its true the council have said that Forest can buy the free hold if they want? Surely thats what we should be doing? What I cant get my head around is why dont we just do that?

We have to remember FFP as well, so it maybe that a new ground will quadruple revenue so this all needs consideriation of all pros and cons instead of getting over emotional.

My preferred option is buying the free hold and than cracking on. If not possible we may have to relocate but if it happens it has to be done with the utmost delicacy. It cant be a souless bowl and the location has to be nice and with good links to town. Also any new ground has to be call the New City Ground. If we want to put a sponsor at the front of that than crack on I am all more creating more revenue. This may give us a sporting advantage in the championship.

Me too I don't have to be anything I'm definitely angry about this though and to be fair has completely ruined Saturdays game that I was looking forward too and that fact that this decision actually means we're probably better getting relegated isn't lost on me either make no mistake I'd rather that than move

Nothings going to happen for years and we won't be moving to Toton. Don't let The Athletic ruin Saturday.

I have said it before, I am not from Nottingham but I think the CG is amazing, the ground, the setting and atmosphere. But the future of the club is critical and if this means that one of those pieces needs to change I am for it. I don't know or care about Toton, but if a move is needed away from the current location to realise what is required as CG cannot reasonably be developed, then so be it. Future fans are as important as the current ones. Walking the streets that millions have done previously to a game is equal to leading the way for the future millions to walk to the game. Currently ST is a dead person's shoes lottery and not helping future fans.

I absolutely do not want to leave the ground, but the ground needs to be developed.

DT is only interested in him self as is Tom - both are rats and that is clear from the message, lack of messages and the timing.

Stuff the pair of the fcuktards.

The more I think about it the worse it gets. We've only been selling out the past 2.5 seasons on a regular basis. We are deep in our second relegation battle with 3 of the worst sides to ever come up. If we stay up next season is likely to be harder.

If we are to build a stadium we need to get the land, permission, plan it and build it that's about 5-10 years away, by that point we could be back in the championship with 0 fans waiting to get a season card, averaging 24k again.

Is Marinakis even going to be here in 10 years? How much debt is the club going to be saddled with? What happens if he does up and leave?

A new stadium I'd think will cost 200m+ at 20,000 extra seats at £40 a go is 16m, it would take 12.5 years just to break even.

Too late unfortunately the arrogance of the club baffles me at times and this one has me f***ing raging you know what if they asked every member to vote on it and the majority said they would rather move then maybe I could accept it but they darn't because they know exactly what way that would go spineless pricks

Are you getting it from Temu?

Everton's 50k Bramley Moore Dock Stadium will have a total cost edging £900m

Emmo mate, you have to be open minded when your partner asks „do you mind if my best friend joins us?“

When it comes to Forest, the club is The City Ground.

Not some soulless identikit dump in an out of town shithole.

This is what I say open minded though. If you read my post youd see I agree with you 100% it cant be a souless bowl or be a shithole. I would only tolerate out of town if it was nice and a quick train or tram ride directly into town.

So have red lines but dont be totally closed off to moving. You have to weigh up the pros and cons.

On thing is for sure, Taylor/The Athletic desperately need subscribers.

We're named after the forest recreation ground not Sherwood Forest. I don't get your point.
I remember before all this MOK malarkey we used to run out to the Robin Hood theme tune

Yes, we did. For years after we were singing MOK. And our previous logo of a Forester looked like the much-vaunted Robin Hood, too.

Well it's been at least 24hrs from the Forest press office, can't we finish off this season on the pitch rather than off it? Or is this a way of distracting the fans on what has happened on the pitch this season.
