I seem to have awarded a few goals that are scored on the counter after a goalies save during this tournament. But that's how it should probably be in 5-a-side - I'll award another in the final to one team or the other.

Final arrangements being made:

- Brian Clough (and Peter Taylor?) to present the trophy.
- The hymn of choice will definitely be either LTLF or MOK.

Meanwhile, we're not sure if Stan's account has been hacked again....
@stancollymore - We all agree Lichaj (Sports) is better than BT (Sports)! Come on you Johns. But fair play Colins if you cause an upset. Very much so.

Some of the players have been in the studio making the traditional cup final songs since Thursday. We can bring you some of that now...

That's John Middleton and Chuck Berry. As you can see, John's still sporting his lucky cup run beard. Will it be lucky tomorrow I wonder?

And the COLINS went for something a bit more 2015...

I'm told that's 1950/60 striker Colin Booth on the auto-tune. An unused substitute so far. Maybe he's trying to get a word to coach Calderwood.

...Well, there you go. All good fun, I'm sure.

One less gobshite...
I'm hoping that Colins don't go too defensive and take their chances trying to nick a goal.

The Johns have a good array of attacking options with plenty of goal scoring threat, they have to be favourites.

The Johns looked a bit midfieldy but in 5 a side that's no bad thing, but when they bought on a striker they really look the biz.

Still wouldn't start with him though - more impact off the bench.

If the Colins defend like they can - and with that keeper they really need to - it might require the magic of O'Hare from the bench as well.

This is where the Petes and Steves with their excellent keepers and well balanced sides look on with sadness, thinking "this could've been ours"!

I think the FRANCISES were unlukcy to have played in the embryonic stages of the tournament too - Drabble, Clark, Gray, Forman, O'Donnell, Wignall...and hoping for clearance to play Carr.

Benali (on loan) was kept out the side/squad by Frankie Gray!

Meanwhile Kjetil Osvold didn't make his comeback for the unique name team, thanks to a mixture of Einar Aas and Kingsley Black.

Tinsley Lindley has told Radio Nottingham he's put his winnings from yestedays exhibiton rush goalies match on the Johns to win the final.

Good old Tinsley.

I'm with him.

Firepower will be the key.

Good morning. The big day is finally here. In a few short hours one of these teams will have written their name into Nottingham Forest history books. And you can bet the butterflies are fluttering now. Both squads are putting the finishing touches to their preparations at the team hotels.

Yesterday Calderwood and the COLINSES were paid a visit by everybody from well-wishing ex-Prime Ministers to the 1998 Scotland World Cup squad. Some of the players hate all this stuff. At this stage they'll just be wanting want to get out there and get on with the action.

We're expecting kick-off around about 2pm.

These were the scenes in Basford a few moments ago as the COLINS left their team hotel.

Big underdogs today. Calderwood has said whatever happens his team will go there to enjoy the day. He had them all in the Willow Tree last night loosen them up a bit. They seem to have the right attitude. And with the tournament's leading scorer in their ranks, who knows?

His team have been out inspecting the pitch already though.

One or two of the players, looking smart, picking out family and friends in the crowd.

Calderwood always looks good in a suit, doesn't he?

Slept in after a very late night! But so glad I've not missed the cup final!

Looking at those teams again definitely a weakness with the Colin's keeper.

Johns for all their silky midfield dominance do lack goals on paper but luckily this game is played on astroturf - which is a relief to all involved.

Johns for me - could be comfortable as long as they're not complacent.

Also is who partners Cooper at the back debatable or is Barrett in there for his 8 goals? Played at a lower level than Todd and Foster didn't he?
