Knowing Forest, it could easily go a number of ways because this team is so difficult to predict. Not sure many people saw Forest winning away at Chelsea and Newcastle, then beating Man United. You'd have thought Burnley and Luton at home were matches Forest would win and probably lose at home to Villa.

With that in mind, it'll probably go something like this.... :D

Spurs - 0
Wolves - 1
Everton - 3
Man City - 1
Sheff Utd - 0
Chelsea - 3
Burnley - 1

Whatever happens, my favourite thing on the BBC website last night at 19.44 (Burnley fan):

"Surely it's not on, is it? Is the great escape on?

I had us dead and buried weeks ago. But look at the table now. After Nottingham Forest's points deduction, after the results this weekend went for us, after we battled so very hard for a point away at Chelsea- suddenly we are only four points away from safety. Despite Darren England doing his best to spoil it for us (I realise I can't get sent off and fined, but you can bet your life I have similar things to say to that man that Vincent Kompany did).

We entertain Wolves tonight under the famously tough Turf Moor lights and it is a game we can absolutely win. Luton face Arsenal, Forest have Fulham and Everton go to Newcastle. We could close that gap to just one point come 10pm.

I can't even begin to imagine what the last seven games look like if that happens."

Only watched the highlights, but Everton looked to be very lucky to scrape a draw at Newcastle. Fingers crossed they get worse.
My only worry from that is that Calvert- Lewin finally scored. Now that he seems to be fit, I can see him scoring a few. They haven't been playing that badly - just not able to score a goal.

That said, I *think* the FFP/PSR penalty for successive failures is +3 points, so I imagine it'll be another 6, pending appeal.

We probably should just forget about them and focus on bettering Luton, ffs (words I never imagined I'd type!).

Everton have an easy run in to the end of the season. They play almost all of the other teams around them. Hopefully they stay shit and continue to struggle but the could easily pick up 3 or 4 wins quite quickly.

Hopefully the Bournemouth fans can contribute to the Forest cause with a heartfelt rendition of '3-0 and you f**ked it up' on Saturday against Luton. It won't take long for the PTSD to kick in after that.

I haven't done the kind of deep dive shit i was doing this time last year but looking at Evertons fixtures, am i crazy for thinking that we possibly might want those to hit form and beat the 3 below us ....yet lose to us of course  (a point would do)

But what if they get absolutely nailed with a big points deduction? Changes everything. Draws all around then for their run in would be ideal. (i think)

I think Brentford are in it. Ivan Toney coming back gave them some sort of reinvigoration but they've reverted to type.

David Raya moving to Arsenal didn't help them in any way. Flekken has never looked convincing to me.
The game against Brighton was awful. Looked like the teams could’ve played to the end of the season and not scored.

Toney…big money move on the cards, spot in the England squad up for grabs…will he be that arsed to give it his all?

In an ideal world Brentford and Everton go down with Sheffield United!!

The concern has to be the Sheffield and Burnley games.

If they have been relegated before we play them then they will be without pressure. How many times do we see relegated teams start to win a few games once the weight of pressure is lifted from them?

Nah.

I think people are coming round to the idea that 30 points is going to be enough this year and so Brentford in that scenario just need one more win, which they'll get from somewhere.

They might have been more at risk of there wasn't three clubs below them all at risk of taking the last spot, but don't think there's much chance all three get to 32 points, especially if Everton get another deduction.

It's probably too much to ask, but wouldn't it be lovely going in to those knowing we've already done enough - the Everton game is a big one, and the Wolves game offers a decent chance of another three.

I think two wins will be enough from here on, not mathematically at that point but enough come seasons end. Some kind of streak would be nice in the next three games (shame we don't have spurs at the end of that run of games really).
