Noticed that even though it was classed as sold out last night the attendance was nearly 1k down. There was very few people sat in the executive boxes in the BC from where I was sat.
For such a premium game and not knowing the price of a box for last night I would suggest the pricing is too high in the current climate or there isn’t that kind of demand for corporate for folk round here.

Bin VAR!
Also noticed the BC boxes, looked like only about half had folk in them. TVs were off in the rest and in darkness. Know a couple of folk who have been in them and don’t like them as you can’t sit outside, you're behind the glass.

Didnt much care for a cup run under the circumstances, so went to the game looking for signs we can get back to winning football matches to keep us up. Thought the game lacked quality from both sides, although they probably edged it in terms of genuine chances, on another day theyre out of sight within 20 minutes.

There was an air of inevitability when Elanga commits the daft foul that we were eventually goiong to succumb to yet another set piece f*** up.

Ul;timatley we played ok in parts, but we lost, so given we're at the business end of the season that becomes largely immaterial. With Liverpool up next, things are unlikey to improve, theyre set piece threat will be a huge issue for us.

Positives..Thought Toffolo & Nico played well. Oerigi looked a genuine threat.

Ultimately, we were wasteful when given half a chance, Taiwo mishit pretty much everything at the keeper. We need to get him & Elanga firing again, both looked pretty inept on the night.
Taiwo was running like Wes Morgan in his flippers!! He’s still a nuisance though. If you remember last season when he came back against wolves he looked the same. Hopefully once he builds up his fitness he goes on a similar run as last season, slightly earlier as well. It bodes well that origi is starting to show signs and wood is potentially edging back.

I agree fully with how you saw the game. A better ‘top’ team would have probably taken more chances but last night we went toe to toe with United, we didn’t look like a lower league team playing them we looked like a premier league team playing them. I’d say we created as many if not more opportunities but theirs were more incisive. But you should expect that with the money they have spent and the wages some of their players are on.

We need to really be at it for the four games starting with Brighton. Hopefully by then players like Awoniyi and Elanga are back to full fitness with the likes of the afcon lads and wood waiting to make their mark too.

Ten Hag moaning that Forest were “targeting” Fernandes because he had a “serious” injury.

😂 f*** the f*** off you f***ing babies.

1) There were zero bad tackles on him.
2) Why was he playing if he was seriously injured?
3) Your lads absolutely love a late stamp so get your own house in order

Prick.
He’s an absolute ****. He’s one player I want to see get injured. Absolutely filthy **** who deserves every bit of attention he gets.

Good review that. I’m same with Man Utd fans, they contributed really well to the atmosphere and credit where it’s due. I’ve said it before about them, not their fault media wankfests over them. You can see that travelling support isn’t plastic… we know exactly which clubs are infected
United fans away are generally one of the best around. The game at the CG in December they were shit though. But last night far better even before the late goal.

I suspect perhaps the main reason commentators and pundits are so "big club" centric in games like this is simply because they not only don't know anything about other teams, they don't really care to make the effort to know either.
It’s true but also shocking. As a pundit wouldn’t you put the effort in and know your subject? Some are genuinely brilliant and know their stuff. So many just churn out lazy cliches and offer no insight.

In 2014? It was Charlton (at home) who we'd have played in the QF, who were struggling at the bottom of the Champ. Sheff Utd beat them & then played Hull in the SF at Wembley.

I think the draw was made at HT at which point we were winning. De Vries then decided to chuck the game in the 2nd half. Probably the angriest I've ever been after a game. Wembley felt so close for a fleeting 20 mins.
It was, but Charlton beat Wednesday. The theory was that the United players were well up for a game against their rivals. Obviously Charlton had other ideas.

I think someone on here mentioned the pricing of a seat in the pitch (I think) and compared it to a comparable cup game last year. Maybe the wolves league cup game. I think the price was 3x higher. So as the game was on tv and people maybe weren’t confident you can see why people didn’t bother.

Do you know who knows his shit but gets a right kicking here… Jamie Carragher. There, I’ve said it.
I like him. But I don’t mind Neville either. Carragher went up in my estimation when they did the overlap with him in Liverpool. He showed he genuinely does stuff in his old area and isn’t just poncing about there for show. He is also like an old school footballer who is happy to take a bit of stick. He also knows his stuff as you say.

He's one of the most knowledgeable tactically. Danny Murphy is also very good

Apparently we targeted that weasel Fernandes last night. I didn't notice it at all, though I definitely saw him dive around a lot. That bald twat seems to miss all that though.

The beeb didn't bother to show what started the altercation with Felipe which makes me think it was something naughty. Anybody know what it was?

Maybe his whiny little rat face? Just looking at it makes me want to strangle him

There's a fan video doing the rounds. Nothing really happened which I'd class as naughty in it unless something was said which can't be heard.

I said at the time he must have said something. No doubt mocking and disrespecting us, so Felipe gave him a little bit if what he deserved. Ratty faced ****.
