Sorry if this has been mentioned before: https://sportday.gr/podosfairo/2414...am-mantsester-g-kai-i-anoichti-prosklisi.html

EM watched the match with sir Alex, who had kind words for the team ("I told you last year that you'll succeed with Cooper, and and I'm telling you now that you'll make it with Nuno. You have a very strong team with good material, you have a capable manager, time is on your side"). The kind words earned him an invitation for summer holidays.

Maybe his whiny little rat face? Just looking at it makes me want to strangle him
Felipe used to play under Diego „Cholo“ Simeone at Atletico, so it is quite possible to say he can handle himself a bit. There are no shrinking violets in a Simeone team.

Fernandes is just a pathetic runt-faced little shit, whose behaviour deserves a good shoeing. You absolutely know he probably used to get the shit kicked out of him at school for being a massive wanker.

While he is an absolute prick in terms of going down easy, looking like he's been shit and getting up as soon as the decisions passed, I dont think all of his really f***ing frustrating body language is directed towards the opposition/referee...

I do wonder if he sometimes looks worse than he is, as his perma-moaning is directed at himself and his teammates as much as it is the opposition.

He's one I genuinely wouldn't want aying for us though, which is ridiculous given his talent - I can't think of anyone else I've seen over the years who is consistently at his level that I wouldn't want. Aldridge maybe but he was a level or three below.

So yeah, still a prick!

Erik ten Hag complaining that football fans are taking the piss out of Ratface's cheating, but it needs amplifying and ridiculing because cheating is bad for the game and should be called out by fans, even if the media is too weak to do it.

Well from Wed's 0630 start for work until 1400, the travel from Portsmouth, a near late arrival (6 mins before KO), a good game from a decent seat (BC upper, J Block), then back for just before 0200 and then up at 0700 to travel to meetings in Corsham on Thur, I am now finally able to sit down and catch up on here.

I thought it was a good game, not a bad atmosphere, several very good chances for both sides. Their quality I thought showed how they could juat move the ball a split second quicker, take 1 tou h rather than 2, 2 rather than 3 or 4. But we did very well. We had do much space in midfield in the first half, but they seemed to change something at half time and that stopped.

Our pace and use.of Elanga and Taiwo my be Our MO, but with that pace and talent it would be incredibly hard to stop. Just a bit more composure and a lucky bounce and a total different story. Well done Turner - all eyes obviously on him and he will know it, that's hard for him.

Keep playing like that and across all areas and there are many points to be taken (and massively needed).

I have been to matches at the City Ground but never been a season ticket holder. I have stood and sat in all four stands over the years. Work and family commitments have always limited me to 2 or 3 games a season. As we know, tickets are now hard to get hold of on an ad hoc basis but we finally managed to get some value out of our My Forest memberships and my lad and I got tickets for the Man U game. We set out from Warwick at 5pm, got stuck in traffic on M42, stuck on the A453 and stuck on Queens Drive before parking at Victoria Embankment. We dashed to the ground and were stuck in queues for Upper BC stand with what seemed like hundreds of others and missed kick off!

The last evening match that we had been to was a 3 – 0 win over a crap Barnsley team in the promotion season so Man U in the 5th round of the FA Cup was worlds apart. Rather than enjoying watching Rashford, Fernandes et al, we were marvelling at the skills and interplay of MGW, Danilo, Murilo and Elanga and it reminds you how far we have come in such a short space of time. These are the best players that I have seen at the CG in many years. Neco Williams and Felipe had great games, we are more competitive in most games and better to watch under Nuno…..but….I just worry that we won’t quite have enough to stay up this season. We’re playing reasonably well but there is a lapse in concentration which costs us every game and shows no signs of being rectified.

At half time we didn’t bother trying to going for a pee or get a drink because of the squeeze. Forest started the second half on the front foot and the Taiwo chance that was well saved was a disappointment. At 70 minutes United were still there for the taking and the last minute goal was a harsh. The United players understandably celebrated in front of their supporters for what seemed like 3 or 4 minutes before the utterly stupid VAR decided to check for an offside. Of course, we knew that the goal wouldn’t be disallowed but it was if they had to play their part as the pantomime villain and we waited for ages before the inevitable Goal decision.

We slowly trundled out of the ground with the masses and behind the TE at a snails pace, up and over Trent bridge. Just before we jumped the safety barrier to cross the bridge we turned to look at the old lady with the new illuminated badge on the TE and it reminded of me when I first visited the CG with my Dad in the 70s.

My lad and I chatted away as we walked to car. Queued to get off Victoria Embankment for 30 minutes. Got to McDonalds in Clifton at 11pm for a much needed pee and a burger but the receipt printers were all broken and nobody knew their order number so there was chaos. The M42 to was closed off the M1 as was J21 of the M1 at Coalville so we were diverted off and finally got home at 1am.

We were beaten by a late goal from a crap team, VAR was rubbish, the ref and the lino down by us was particularly crap. If I was a season ticket holder I would probably get peed off with the traffic congestion, the queues the catering and the concourse. Despite all of this, we had a great night out. My head tells me that a move to a new 50,000 ground makes sense but my heart tells me otherwise. “Always to be here”

Yeah but I don't pay my sky subscription I won't be threatened with being put in prison
That's what pisses me off , you have to pay for a license to watch any live TV even though sky don't get a share of the licence fee.
Just had my monthly threatening letter, apparently they've opened an investigation against me. It's going so well they don't know what my name is yet.

No one goes to prison for not paying for a TV licence. If you get fined and don't pay the fine that's when you risk prison, although that's unlikely.
They also need evidence to fine you. If you don't talk to them they can't get any evidence. It's usually people saying things they should, not or inviting them in the house or worse still signing something which at a later date they falsify evidence against you ( it does happen) alot of these "investigators caught up in the PO scandal are ex TV licence salesmen.
It's easy to deal with. Knock knock,
"Yes, hello who are you"?
"I'm from TV licensing "
"No thank you"
Close door.
I will say I play by the rules, I don't watch live TV and I don't use iPlayer I just watch catch up TV. I do think the day will come though when they stick on your council tax or electric bill like they do in alot of other countries.

The German model is that it is mandatory for every household, whether you watch TV or listen to the radio or not, and the same rules apply for business addresses, who also have to pay.

But, this funds the public broadcasters ARD and ZDF, and whilst many grumble about having to pay it, because yes it is another tax, but it isn‘t a huge amount (€17 a month) and there is some decent stuff on the public channels.

Hell, I am happy to pay it for the nightly Tagesschau alone, which is Germany‘s sort-of equivalent of Newsnight, and compulsive viewing.

Noticed that even though it was classed as sold out last night the attendance was nearly 1k down. There was very few people sat in the executive boxes in the BC from where I was sat.
For such a premium game and not knowing the price of a box for last night I would suggest the pricing is too high in the current climate or there isn’t that kind of demand for corporate for folk round here.
The hospitality area behind me in the Lower Trent End was only about 15% occupied, leaving scores and scores of empty seats that I could see.
