So...England juniors are playing France tonight, in a friendly, and ITV is the only channel showing it. Does anyone care as little as I do?

Obviously uber patriots like Tutts need not reply.

I'm more interested in watching this game than any of the qualifiers so far.

A young side, full of new and exciting players - obviously alongside some more 'experienced' ones - against a France side which is also in a huge transition period and which is also full of young and exciting players like Yann M'Vila.

Andy Carroll, if he continues to improve at the rate he currently is, will be a superstar and it's good to see a player of that type coming through. Fine, he's a **** off the pitch, but he's a very good player.

Keiron Gibbs, Jordan Henderson, Adam Johnson, Jack Wilshere (although not playing tonight) and to an extent, the somewhat rejuvenated Micah Richards are all ones for the future who'll be major international superstars in years to come.

Oh and Theo Walcott might be quite good.
