GBR, there is a problem with the first league table. Both Trents and I show a played figure of 18, but the wins, draws and losses only add up to 17. The total points agree with the figures in the wins and draws, so it looks like somewhere alon the way you've missed updating the wins draws/losses for a game between the two of us. I have no idea what the score of that game was though, but I could sure do with some points to avoid the champions curse and getting relegated like Thomas did last season. :)

He makes it up as he goes along, I reckon that I only get about half of what I deserve.

Are you OK GBR? as well as the games issue I noted above, the front page says the next game is Saturday 19th of November and the tables would be updated on Monday 18th. Today (Tuesday) is the 19th.

Hello all,

Sorry for going AWOL there but life suddenly decided to give me an 'entertaining' time. My dear old mum took ill so have been doing my bit to help her out, just as my work load shot up seeing me do 11 hr days for the last couple of weeks - and to cap it off nicely I copped for a lousy head cold. Consequently, any spare time I've had has been spent in bed! Anyway, I've been at this since 5.00am this morning to catch up and finally have...

Firstly, thanks for your concern - I'm ok.... now.
Luckily I keep all my score sheets for the season together so I've been able to run through to check out the anomaly you spotted. Turns out it was your 1-1 draw v Trents in Game 17 that I hadn't added in - god knows how I managed that but there we go.
League table now showing has this correction included.



Last weeks games (Game 19) were very much hit by postponed games due to 'international callups'. We've not suffered from that before - what a pain in the ass. Can only assume the EFL has decided to extend such things to League 1 & 2 sides that have a player who's buggered off to play for Bongo-Bongo Land in a qualifier for the Darkest Peru Meaningless Cup. What a load of crud.


Anyway, back on track (hopefully) now and will do todays Game 20 update tonight.

League Tables up after Game 20

Fixtures up for Game 21, next Sat 30th Nov PLUS Sun 1st Dec - don't usually include Sunday results but it's FA Cup 2nd Rd and many games are being played then. League or Cup scores for our scoring teams count.


TBT needs just one more point to ABSOLUTELY clinch this seasons LEAGUE TITLE!

ByranRoy22 is assured promotion to DIV 1.

ForestTurner & Taylor_82 are assured promotion to DIV 2.



This coming Wed is the LTLF EUROPEAN CUP Semi-Finals...

...but we now already know that Wes' Organ WILL be in the final as todays results means he beats _ _Andy!_ _ 4-0.

TBT (with her tally of 1 goal) awaits Real Madrid's score to see if she joins Wes in the final for a chance of the League & Euro Cup double!



Phew. Think that does it for now - except to point out there are many BIG fixtures in the coming League Game 21. CHECK OUT THOSE FORTHCOMING FIXTURES!!

LTLF EUROPEAN CUP NEWSFLASH....

Real Madrid pip TBT 2-1 in Semi-Final and go on to meet Wes' Organ in the Final.

I'll update the Euro Cup template tomorrow night.

Wes v Real Madrid.... who'd have thought it possible?!

(Wes - your teams score from Sat 7th Dec will be pitched against Real's score in their game away to Club Bruges on Wed 11th Dec to see who wins)




In the meantime, I'm currently working on a spreadsheet for our leagues that will generate the weekly fixtures for me AND automatically update each divisions league table as I enter the results. This will save a hell of a lot of time for me as, currently, everything you see on here week in, week out is painstakingly updated by hand.

I've been getting the spreadsheet layout right so I can then take 'snapshots' of the relevant parts each time to convert into images to present on here. Below I post initial trial images so I can see if I'm heading in the right direction... any comments regarding clarity / easy of reading would be appreciated. Obviously I'm looking to start using this for our next ( 2019 / 20(b) ) season.
