I guess there was only room for one JL in our Premier squad.
Thanks Joe for your service over the years. You’ve given us some fantastic memories.

Hmmmm Sydney or Blackpool .... Very tough choice there.Don't blame him for going there. He's done everything there is to do in the Championship so there's no point putting his body through that (given his injury problems).
Won't be anywhere as demanding for him in Australia, he'll be one of the best players in that league and it'll be much better living over there than moving to Blackpool.
I hope he has a great time in Sydney and enjoys his football again, and enjoys the lifestyle there. He's earned it. All the best Joe, always welcome at the City Ground.
Good to hear. A cracking player on his day, blighted by injuries. He looked terrific in his first game tonight, in atrocious rain soaked game, great runs from the fight wing.
The Joe Lolley I remember
Would be a shit way to treat a great servant (and from what I can tell, a decent bloke too). Sadly it wouldn't surprise me.Reports today suggest Joe was banished to the under 23s via text before he left. Disrespectful if true, especially after he played 150 times for us and got me off my seat many times.
I met Joe once and can confirm he's a thoroughly decent blokeWould be a shit way to treat a great servant (and from what I can tell, a decent bloke too). Sadly it wouldn't surprise me.
There was some rumour/ innuendo that Joe was not a committed trainer. Cooper was thought not to appreciate his half-hearted commitment.Wasn't there a bit more to it though? Or was that all a made up rumour?
Well, he does have a chronic condition which he made an issue by over training. There was some rumour/ innuendo that Joe was not a committed trainer. Cooper was thought not to appreciate his half-hearted commitment.
But you know how this stuff arrives with a big warning label.
