Best pound for pound spent since...?
Depends on the actual cost but:

450k a bargain worth so much more

Anything up to 5m still worth every penny amazingly good player, easily in the running for player of the season and goal of the season

I mentioned something in relation to this on the matchday thread but if Lolley continues this form considering Mason Mount has had the call this week I'd say our lollipop has a shot at an England call up.

A left sided winger with the goods he can produce has to be in with a shout?

No he isn't owned by a prem club , if he was on loan from say Chelsea then yes he would get a call.

Don’t see any reason why not.

England don’t have many left sided wide men like him who can take men on and create something out of nothing.

Andros Townsend is probably the most similar type and he’s way off form this season.

Other than that, you’d be looking at Ryan Sessegnon and Demarai Gray (who cuts inside on his right)

nah, that's silly talk tbh, you have to be truly exceptional, a youngster with high potential (preferably on loan from a prem club), an established international at a recently relegated club or have a LOT of injuries to players who play in your position to get an England call up as a Championship player, Lolley is playing at the level of a very good Championship player atm, but he won't get a England call up this season, unless he goes up another couple of levels for the entire season, I mean, Antonio was playing better than Lolley for us and he never got near England with us iirc

I don't see what's silly about it at all. Antonio was on the verge shortly after joining West Ham. Mason Mount has managed to get the nod from playing Championship football so it seems Southgate is happy to look at players who are doing it at this level. Lolley is a real talent and we aren't overly blessed on the left hand side as a national team.

Mount is a Chelsea player, Lolley is not.

One will get in the England squad the other will not.

Antonio only got a call up after getting a Premiership move and being consistently great at Championship level for over a season

And Mason Mount has had one at Championship level after a dozen games. Lolley is in outstanding form. I wouldn't rule it out if like i said he can keep this form up.

The old boys club. It's held England back for years. Look at Cloughie, an obvious managerial appointment but didn't fit into their bullshit ethos.

London-centric England in every walk of life.

The old boys club, youth training methods and sky money allowed them to improve quality by just buying rather then developing the talent
