Re: The Jack Hobbs Appreciation Thread

Now the injury epidemics and extended recovery times we seemed to suffer every year make sense.

I don't about this for sure, but when ever I've had an op or people who I know have, they've usually marked the procedure sight including incision point etc before-hand. I though it was standrd practice because this should be a good opportunity to correct any mistakes.

Even did this whn I had the snip.
How many bollocks do you have?

It's only a ploy to stop him from panicking by realising he's in an abattoir.

And moving to 'Football Banter'. He's been given a generous stay of execution... Matt Mills was in there before the sun had set on that glorious winter day 6 months ago.

He'll leave in a few weeks, sign for peanuts elsewhere, excel there and it will still have been the right decision to let him go.
Signed for Bolton on a one year deal. It was definitely time for him to go and if he keeps fit will see him back here playing against us no doubt. Want to wish him all the best, I always liked his simple effective style of play (when fit!) clean cut and good attitude.
Will be watching with interest.

Glad to see him go but when he first came here I rated him plus he joins an elite band who have scored winners v the sheep recently

That's the thing though, "if he stays fit". He won't.

He can't even train full time, nevermind play 40+ games.

As Barry says, you just know he's going to go there and be their forty game stalwart centre back

Bloody typical

Perhaps this should be renamed the Jack Hobbs Disintegration thread?

You know when you reach the end of a packet of biscuits and there's all the crumbs at the bottom of the packet?

That's what Hobbs is made of.

Had to have stitches in a head wound, apparently. Then got man of the match against Ipswich on Saturday.
Let’s hope he plays as well again against the sheep this week :p
