And I still heard people complaining about him.

Re: Lansbury

Lansbury never needed a boost of confidence, just a run of games to bring himself up to match fitness. Keep him in the side and he'll keep performing like he has done in the last two games.

Really? Morons.

Lansbury is going to be a huge, huge player for us. If he can keep fit then at £1m he's going to be an absolute steal. He just needed a run of games and, not so much a confidence boost, just maybe someone driving him on. Think he's got that now, which is only going to be a good thing for us.

That backheel to Dexter for Radi's second was sublime, and the direct run for his goal was just brilliant.

The only slight negative I would say against him would be he has given the ball away trying to be a bit too clever when 30-40 yards from our goal. Both goals from the last 2 games have been as a result of him losing the ball.

Otherwise he is getting stronger each game. I'm sure Billy will be working hard to eradicate such mistakes from his game. Once he does we could have a real gem on our hands.

He's still not near his best, but he's getting a fair way towards being an integral player in the side. I think having Geddy and Reidy alongside him has been a fantastic help for him though.

The lad's definitely got a touch of class about his play, he's the type of player who can provide a moment of magic which can really make a difference in the Champ. I'm pretty sure when he signed in the summer it was a five-year deal, correct me if I'm wrong?

My mistake, BBC Sport notes it down as a four-year deal. Can't believe he's still only 21.

I'm absolutely delighted to see Lansbury grow into his role and give us the kind of performance we knew he was capable of.

We are playing a simple and structured formation with positive forward attacking moves and we're playing to his strengths. I expect to see more of the same, and better, from this young man. Credit to Billy.

Yup :) Give him a few years and I think we'll have a quality, Premiership player on our books.

Similar to Pep, the fact that he has both a creative aspect and physical presence to his games gives us lots of options. Hope that he stays fit now!

I understand we're in Billy's second honeymoon period but it's amazing just how influential he appears to be and how poor our previous managers have been by comparison.

Lansbury, for me, has always held the promise of something great but he's never really sparked until the last two games.

Irrespective of how good we appear at the moment, and how good our potential is, I still feel we need a couple of additions to prepare us to compete with the top teams in this league.

Lansbury, however, looks like he has the attributes for bigger and better and I can't wait to see how he develops further.

Agreed mate, the squad is top 8-10 material IMO and a proper CB, LB and winger would be very handy indeed (having said that, I'd say Derby were only top 8 material when Davies got them up!). It'll be hard to keep this intensity up over a full season without the side burning out or an injection of fresh faces, but hopefully we can keep it up for the remainder of this season at least - who knows, SOD's more methodical approach may still benefit us as the players may have more in the tank to draw on than usual.

You look at Lansbury, Pep, Cohen, Google, Halford etc. and these lads aren't bad lookers either - should keep the ladies happy, and keep the more superficial press on-side the more exposure we get :)

 I've intentionally not mentioned it but......if there's a vacancy for a dressing room attendant then my CV's at the top. ;)

Sure they'll keep many a lad-lover happy!

From our perspective the Forest marketing lot should use it to get some more cash in! If you've got it, flaunt it as they say.

Re: Lansbury

Billy did say when he came in that some players here needed guidance. Lansbury was one of them.
