The article in the Mirror has provoked a lot of posts here.
I want to believe, but until the ink is dry on the contract and we know we haven't been bought by Shinawata, or some other disgraced alleged criminal I can't.
Oh, and that Gary Cook isn't involved...

Being kicked out of Europe is the ultimate punishment in UEFA's version of FFP. Before that there'd be fines, points deductions, registration embargoes, etc.

The Football League are trying to bring in their own version, with their own set of punishments.

Yep, ad new stadium announced 30 miles south of City Ground. Ive seen the signs on the M1 for Leicester Forest already.

The things that club will do to have a local rival....

The people who have any knowledge concerning whether any parties or consortiums interested in acquiring the Club were told not to dilvulge any information to the general public. So the article is a complete non-starter.

I have an Aunt who cleans the steps at the admaralty and often know's information, especially regards the financial implications for the club. Takeovers.....Information regarding who, what where why and how much are, as should be in such circumstances, totally confidential between a trusted handful of the parties involved.

The Doughty family via the merchant bank are in talks with an interetsed party, but No shit Sherlock if you posted that, hardly ground breaking news surrounding the club and it's future.

So a quick recap.........................

No one outside a need to know basis has a grasp of the full details and the very nature of their job and the situation ensures that it remains confidential !

For what it's worth, a friend of mine who works at the club has said that there has been no Due Diligence done in the areas it would have been done in, were the club already sold. This doesn't discount that there is interest or offers, just that it's unlikely that there is any agreement in place yet, but almost certainly, the club has not been sold (are you reading OTT?)

As I know absolutely nothing of what is happening, but something of what isn't, does this mean I can claim to be ITK?

@JamesNursey - My info is #NFFC takeover likely to be done by end of month & there's a USA consortium & and Arab family battling for it.

I wouldnt mind forest being owned by an american consortium. The only one I can remember being truly awful was hicks and gilette at liverpool - but then even that was a success, as it made a mockery of liverpool.

The derby owners havent done that bad a job there IMO. They do alot of good offers to fill the ground, theyve cut the clubs debts and costs. The side has been pretty awful, but then theyve stuck by non league nigel through some tough spells and they seem to be getting better.
