Jack Armstrong
Dimi Evtimov - No links
Stephen Henderson - No links
Michael Mancienne - Turned down Rizaspor
Barrie McKay - Turned down Olympiacos - Linked to Reading
Zach Clough - tenuous link to QPR
Jamie Ward - No links
Gboly Ariyibi - No links
Apostolos Vellios - Allegedly turned down moves to Greece, links to APOEL

Possible:

Stefanos Kapino - rumoured to be released
Thomas Lam - getting a chance, but be surprised if he sticks around
Ryan Yates - possible loan out to Rotherham

-----

Bit worrying that we've not really heard much about some of them, especially as there is no chance most of them will even get a look.

Can see some getting contracts terminated on eve of the transfer window. Hopefully the last few days when it picks up and teams get desperate, we'll see some movement.
Wouldn't be surprised if Ward ends up on loan at Burton again.

That lot are probably costing us £1.5 mill a year betwen them, what a crazy world we live in.. Thats probably not far off half of our season ticket sales revenue!

I dare say more than £1.5m pa. That'd work out as 28,846 p/w

Wouldn't be surprised if that lot was closer to 50k p/w between them, maybe more.

By including his name, I'm sure it wasn't your intention to imply that Ryan Yates is part of that group.

Out of that lot. Contracts end :

2019 (think paying off contracts would only happen from these)
Mancienne, Ward, Evtimov, Lam, Henderson, Kapino

2020
Ariyibi, Vellios

2021
McKay , Clough

You'd like to think we can find clubs for McKay and Clough, even if only on loan.

Vellios has had clubs after him but appears to either be ignorant to not having a chance here, or wants a free 2yr holiday.

Ariyibi... What a waste of time and money he has been. 2 pretty unsuccessful loans. You'd imagine we could find another loan for him though.

Mancienne could easily find a new club, but I think it's probably down to his desire.

Christ, we have got Clough until 2021!

What looked like a fairly good transfer in the first few months is turning into a disaster. Hope somebody takes him off us, but I think a loan would be the best way to try and recoup the money, but who that could afford him would realistically want him on loan.

It can't be under-stated how poor he was last season.

He was weak and his touch was so poor he made Tyson look world class at times last season.

Warburton felt the need to sub him off at least once before half time (Wendies) but was there another occasion ?

Clough seems to me as someone who needs to be 'the man'. Will have to be no.10, everything goes through him, knows he has full support of the manager to take risks and make mistakes... etc

He is technically superb, but when you lose faith in yourself it can go away if you don't have a strong character.

Was hoping he'd fit back in at Bolton but Parkinson doesn't have a team to suit his style. Bit homesick too isn't he?

Hard to see where he might go at the minute, wherever it is, I imagine it will be a loan.

He was woeful mate, not just his touch but his graft. He wouldn't even swing his leg out to try and block a cross in some games. I was seriously losing my rag at times with him, he was lucky to get as many chances as he did.

I think the fact Karanka come out and said he tried to sign him at Boro and got absolutely nothing from him made his mind up fairly quickly.

Homesick! It's only an hour away

He was also dreadful back at Bolton, even though they do hoof it forward, you would expect him to show something - it was just an extension of his form here.

Just give Clough away. Don't ask for any money. Surely someone would like a ball playing number 10 with a great attitude!

He's not even technically superb. He's got this reputation from somewhere but I saw a player with a shite first touch and complete inability to execute a pass from the moment he joined us.

A couple of early goals made people overlook it but the fact is he's just not a very good technical player. Compare him to McKay who, whilst going off the boil, did very much demonstrate control, passing and vision.

Just give Clough away for whatever and suck up the loss. Learning curve.

........looks like it's starting to thin-out a bit now with Cummings and Traore agreeing to move on.

Looks like I have to change my name, whose career shall I ruin this time?

Remember when we signed in getting in a right row with my mate about the value of the transfer, he's not even a Forest fan but just felt he was a great player based on what he had seen, which many did in all fairness. I never quite felt he was worth the £3m odd or whatever we spent.

He's got a bit of something about him. Big issue last year is we loaned in a very talented Kieran Dowell who was light years ahead and a very talented Lee Tomlin followed.

I don't think he's that bad in all honesty, I just think we've realised we could get much better in. Whether the Portuguese lad is or not, for me remains to be seen (still yet to see him kick a ball) but at the price tag you would think and certainly hope that he is!

We would've got a fee I would've thought but given that we've kinda decided to have our squad and the rest out of the picture (which is totally understandable), I don't imagine we'll get much, if anything for him. Someone will have him though I would've thought.

Agree re McKay though, I do think we have a big talent there that is just not part of our particular plans.
