I used to hate duty frees! No calculators in those days and with a full aircraft going across the pond, not enough time to do it all. It got a bit easier when the pound devalued to $2.40 in the pound and , for those youngsters among us, there were 240 pennies to the pound in old money, so that made it easier.

What's the going rate for a Ticket to see Take That these days? I reckon they must fleece their 'fans' for at least £100 a pop. Hopefully we've negotiated a decent cut.

For a stadium gig, the promoter pays a flat fee but a deal is done on concessions for food and drink and merchandise.
I've actually done a stadium tour with take that back in 2011... it was the first reunion with Robbie Williams... we did Wembley, Millennium Stadium, Villa Park, Etihad, Stadium of Light, Hampden Park

Watched Richie Laryea and Brian Ojeda play saturday night (Vancouver vs Real Salt Like) and they were both horrible in a truly horrible game with a horrible referee. WE should just get rid of both immediately if we can. I was particularly disappointed in Laryea, as I though he might be able to cut it. These two teams are mid table in BLS--I doubt they be top six in league one. Messi should be disqualified from the Ballon D'or for playing in such a putrid league.
