It's ok because he "asked his mum". Imagine the day you are burying your son, someone asks if he can put a picture of your sons dead body on his twitter feed. At best it's ignorance, at worst it's sick.

I would say that I've been to services where pictures have been taken, its been open casket and widely shared on social media and no issues were caused. Its possibly because he seems to count CBW as a friend. Whilst that may be the case, its certainly not going to be received as such when using the same channel to share it as you do for Forest content that you would like to increase views/followers for.

I don't think he's shared it for clicks, he seems genuinely caught out by it all which probably shows that he's not media savvy/trained and if anything is more naive than offensive but I'm not bothered by it at all. I think on Twitter in particular there is an inherent need for some people to get as absolutely outraged about a small thing as possible to cause a pile on but its all bs really.

Storm in a tea cup imho and in fairness I wouldn't want him cancelled if only because it puts f***ing Johnny come lately (And shitly) Wolverine further up the pecking order and I've already seen far too much of that prick to last 10 lifetimes.

Why is not https://www.nottinghamforest.co.uk/teams updated? Super-Sam still here? Turner with no squad number? Players out of loan a right mess. How hard would it have been to fix this when the numbers were out? And they have photos of everyone, so why not use them?

Such a small effort involved to keep something so important up to date.

The "how the loan players got on" column hasn't returned this season (yet) either, which is a real shame as I thought it was really interesting reading every week.

Nottingham Forest‘s „official“ app, which is a) f***ing crap and hasn’t been updated (on iOS anyway) for over three years, and b) doesn’t meet the current Apple design standards which were drawn up in 2018 (!) has been removed from the Apple App Store.

It now no longer appears if you search for it, or if you follow an external link to it (for example, from the Premier League‘s own official app).

The current app still seems to work (albeit, it’s just a wrapper around their website content) but I can’t help thinking this is yet another fairly simple thing that should have been properly sorted.

Yes, yes. Go on Grandads, moan this isn’t important. But it is.

Dedicated apps are how you build a brand, especially in the modern, current, smartphone era, when the kind of fans you need to attract have the attention-span of a goldfish. Yes, we all know modern football is shite, but seemingly every other Premier League Club can sort this, but Forest cannot.

Also - whilst I am on my soapbox - I still have no communication at all from the club about audio streaming options for this season, for overseas fans. That seems to have quietly gone away (unless anyone else knows if they’re doing this, if so, let me know!)

I just read pictures of "CBW" and "open casket" and thought we were talking about WWE.....couldn't think who CBW is.

As for the well known content creator, I'm always skeptical of them no matter who they support.... very much like the knob heads in the various supporters clubs, they don't talk for me, I very rarely share their views and I find the whole thing embarrassing, for them... I went all the away games when we were shit, week in week out bags of shit and you get to notice the sames faces and recognise them even if you don't know them..... strange how I never recall seeing their faces when we were shit.
