GAFF LAD. "Open your knees and feel the breeze"
It blows my mind, 2 meh performances in warm up matches and people get worried he's shit... The same happened to Grabban it's a bit pathetic tbh.

Let players integrate and judge them after 10 games.
Absolutely agree gamble, boils my pi55 it does.

By the way the runs he makes are phenomenal, the more he’s here the more it will be picked out .

Very odd style but you can definitely see why he's scored the goals he has done.

Reminded me of Marlon (Harewood). In that he seemed to make the most difficult of things look easy and the most easiest of things look really difficult.

He'll definitely provide some excitement though that's for sure.

He's got a very unique style.

Sometimes you think he doesn't know what he wants to do, then he uses his body and footwork to get away from someone.

His movement is world class, though. He reads the game so well. Gets into good positions and knows how to finish.

He reminds me of Paulo Wanchope.

It's all about mid-table...
Reminds me of Justin Fashanu, Jason Lee an Carlton Palmer rolled into one.

In the right place the lad was. Do him the world of good and you could tell with his reaction.

I thought he was very quick when he got going
Exactly the point - everyone has to work out how each other likes to play and what they'll do in their respective roles. He'll get better service as the team gels. He reminds me of Emile Heskey, never the elegant striker but bloody effective and horrible to play against.

I thought his off the ball movement was really good. Played the channels well for balls over the top, dropped off into space for link up play and just generally quite busy and ever eager. Case in point was our goal, his initial movement is channel run expecting the incisive pass from Toffolo.

But literally two seconds later after that pass doesn't happen he's already checked his run, got on the wrong side of Zouma, and on the six yard box anticipating what he probably thinks might be a keeper save which could end up at his feet:

It's not ground breaking stuff. You want to see your strikers to do it multiple times a game, but it was nice to see him doing the right things and getting rewarded for it. Scruffy goal yes, but his movement led him to be right place right time. Other strikers not paying as much attention wouldn't have made the move and the Lingard shot would have been deflected behind for a corner.

I noticed how good his movement was throughout the game, he caused Zouma all sorts of problems running off him. As time goes on he will get found more often but I am starting to see why he scored so many goals last year now.

I saw quite a bit of him for 1. FC Union, and it struck me his greatest asset was his movement, he seemed absolutely adept at finding defensive gaps and exploiting them.

When Forest were first mooted as being interested in him, I was pleasantly surprised, because he had become a bit of a guilty favourite of mine, watching the Bundesliga.
