I'll be amazed if this happens, but if it does it will be one hell of a signing!
Whoscored.com has him as very weak for holding onto the ball, but strong finishing and dribbling. How accurate that is...Davis replacement/bait. Big strong lad!
Henderson and Niakhate would be an excellent start. This lad on top of that would be mind-blowing, though I don't see this one happening. I'd be amazed if bigger clubs weren't sniffing around.Making all the right moves in all the right markets.
We're gonna be a force.
These recommendations are coming from Syrianos surely? Wasn't he an analysis in Germany?Making all the right moves in all the right markets.

YesIf Liverpool couldn't get him a permit, could we?
Yes
They struggled with pre-Brexit WP rules, now they changed he would have got one - plus he is now a full international player
More chance of Taika Waititi.

Yes, I would imagine that Syrianos is leaning heavily on his time at a certain south-western german side to identify some of these lads as possible targets. These recommendations are coming from Syrianos surely? Wasn't he an analysis in Germany?
Absolutely proving his worth if we can get a couple of these over the line.

Well there we go then. We may see him once this season.
Think Cooper had actually left Liverpool a couple of seasons before Awoniyi joined, but they were probably aware of him years before they signed him.Would assume Cooper has likely worked with player at Liverpool, so would be well aware of his attributes, attitude, potential etc.. and followed his progess.
If he has interest from elsewhere in the Premier League, it is probably from more established clubs (as I feared).

Unfortunately I don't think this one is going to happen, though I'd love to be proven wrong...
You're quite right as usual!Think Cooper had actually left Liverpool a couple of seasons before Awoniyi joined, but they were probably aware of him years before they signed him.
Hopefully you're right. Feels like one deal that we will have to conclude quickly before others start to throw their hat in the ring for there to be any chance of this happening.Essentially we’re all looking at the same 80-100 players though. Doesn’t mean they will bid, he might be fifth in West Ham’s list, but top of ours. If we move early, others might be dithering while they wait for news elsewhere.
I agree that if we are directly competing for a signature we will probably lose out, but I wouldn’t be too worried about interest.
The lad wants to come to England. If we pay his wage demands and tell him what he wants to hear and we are the only ones in the game at the minute, I’m sure he will sign.
