someone up, really hates Werder

I dunno, they’ve signed Davy Klaassen from Everton and free-agent (and former Bremen old boy) Claudio Pizzarro has joined them on a „free“ also, so that attacking talent might mitigate anything between the sticks!

So if the reports are to be believed, we've made a million pound profit on Kapino, and another million pound profit on Mckay?

Amazing, remember when under Marthur we used to get nothing for the players we wanted to keep, let alone the ones we wanted shot of.

This new era is so refreshing after nearly two decades of utter shambles behind the scenes.

It's like suddenly being transported to an alternate universe where Forest are a very well run club. If we could find a way back to the old universe to tell them what was happening here they wouldnt believe us.

Can Oly send us more players like this please.

Hiring a good manager with promotion on his CV?
Backing said manager with quality players?
Consistently making profits on player sales?
Commercial potential of the club being addressed?
Improvements to the ground?
CEO being allowed to get on with his job without interference from the owner?

Surely this can't be Forest!

Genuinely surprised that a qualified football person has watched this guy and thought that parting with money to get his services would be a good idea.

there will be mistakes by the owner and the management but as said months ago, you have to be certain that they are viewing football very professionally. they have the knowhow, experience, connections.

i wouldn't expect anything less. as GBG said, Vrentzos has an OCD. He doesn't want to lose money from a transfer. and this is valid even for players that the team is angry about their performance and behavior.

.

I’ll tell you what, I cannot recall such a drastic and unexpected lurch in direction since Bobby Ewing reappeared in the shower in Dallas.

Aye, I remember when we used to look on enviously at other clubs who did everything off the field so much better whilst we had to make do with Mark "We don't have to make an effort with marketing, or selling players because ND will just fund the club out of his pocket" and then El Dipstick himself,Fawaz, acting like amateurs.

Calling them amateurs is actually being kind. It's so nice to see the club making an effort in every possible way.

According to reports in Germany you retained a 20% sell-on percentage.

No excuse to not have a sell-on for younger players. Constantly gives you a chance of increasing future revenue when you're not planning to receive it.

I've heard rumours we have one on Jamal Lascelles?

Hope it's true, because although I do think he is a very good player, with fees at the minute, there's a chance he could be heavily overpaid for. £35/40m would surprise me.

If we've got 10% f any profit, we sold him for £5m, that's just over £3m from nowhere.

I did not think there was. I though we had him and Darlow back on seasons loans without having to make any contribution to salaries.

Paul Taylor confirmed there was a sell on for Lascelles. No idea how much.

So yeah, if he goes we could expect £3m at the very least.

As always with difficult characters who cannot accept the fact that sometimes their failure is their own fault, Kapino did not have nice things to say either about Olympiacos or about Forest (he presents his short stay at Nottingham as 'obligatory'): https://www.kreiszeitung.de/werder-...ummer-eins-werden-werder-bremen-10084649.html

Enjoy your vacations at Bremen Stefanos (he's about to be married too). It will surely be someone else's fault if you don't make it as no. 1 as you say you will. It will never be your own fault, there will always be someone else to blame...

Whatever we say about these characters, they always have the last laugh because they are getting well paid for something most of us would do for nothing.
