Football, and the Premier League in particular is at a tipping point - the feelings of a cartel, that the PL is protecting certain clubs, big 6 bias and all that - those calls are louder than I've ever heard them.

The current setup is not sustainable.

It could be that this is the push that's needed to collapse the whole house of cards.
Just seen the phrase I was looking for on Twitter:

"There has been an awakening"

My interest in the sport has been tested quite a bit in recent years, I must admit, but my love of Forest always brings me back.

VAR is obviously the tipping point that you speak of. I can't forgive them for taking a lot of the spontaneous joy of the game away, but if the trade off is that decisions are always correct, I can just about accept it.

If the joy is taken away AND incorrect decisions are still the main talking point every week, it can be quite challenging to stay enthused. I just want to watch a pure game of football again.

Non-league. Proper football.

Hearing the audio of the var decision will be interesting then-

nope young didn’t touch him
nope it didnt hit youngs arm
nope, he definitely got the ball first there, this ref has seen everything perfectly…
That would be interesting. Hopefully we get what Liverpool got.

Atwell chanting “cam on Luton, faaaack you you Forest cants” all through every VAR review.

Good luck with that.

I understand the sentiment and emotion of the tweet but I think it will only make things worse and we've painted a big target on our own backs.

But part of me is delighted we are going down swinging.

My question is Mark Clattenburg the cause or effect of this shitshow?

Is he driving this victim culture bollocks, or his appointment a symptom of it? For me it's the second. And it's f***ing embarrassing

At what point will refereeing actually get the f***ing overhaul it actually needs?
When a Premier League club takes a stand and calls out piss poor officiating after a game....
