Double jeopardy, isn't it?

Tierney fucks up anfd we lose.

We complain, lino loses his rag, we get charged.

We lose a goal and get fined, essentially for the same incident.

It was ridiculous when Boly was sent off which affected 70 mins of that game and he then had to sit out the next game as punishment for the sending off which was unjust.

Yeah on the one hand they claim they can’t possibly investigate and rescind suspensions for two yellows in the same game, no time apparently. But they do have the time for crap like this.

If they’re going to bring charges against Reid it can only be for the exact words he was supposed to have said. Because he was quite calm and never laid a hand on anyone that I could see. So maybe those words should be published so we can make our own minds up while his name is being dragged through the mud.

This is Steven Reid, mental health champion and mindfulness coach.

I somehow don’t think a man who is so sorted mentally is going to go full-on Bruce Lee on the match officials, even though he might want to?

Maybe he wasn‘t as restrained as, „Off you go, Cantona! It‘s an early bath for you!“ but he was probably nearer Mr. Chalmondley-Warner than being deliberately offensive.

Of the bad decisions that have affected us this season the most damaging one, if not the most egregious, was the Yates penalty vs Everton right before they went up the other end and scored the winner. Thats a potential 6 point swing against a direct relegation rival.

Oddly this one seems to have been forgotten. Even odder is that the ref was one Mr Paul Tierney.

Apparently he was told "I'm the boss" according to a report today.
I've been trying to find a source for this all day after seeing Richard Keys tweet it.

But Keys is the only person to claim this.

Have you seen it anywhere else?

I can't remember where I saw it at all, I saw it early this morning before I went into a meeting.

To be fair to the 4th official, he appeared to try and alert Tierney, but Tierney was having nothing of it.
Someone should be bloody screaming into the prats ear with the earpiece he wears. f*** sake even Morgan was trying his best to tell him.

And that was a week after Brighton got a penalty for Chris Wood putting his hand on Joao Pedro's shoulder as well.

Sounds like we've bottled this one. Odd, given it's one of if not the most obviously wrong, costly and ominous decision that's gone against us.

I recall us kicking off a lot in October and November over pretty minor and frankly embarrassing stuff, so I sense with the Clattenburg appointment too having rattled everyone I suspect the club may decided it's maxed out on outrage capital and needs to save up for the next time the referee forgets the rules.

Either that or they are working on something in silence.

We haven't had the usual crap apology from the PGMOL yet which i find odd after such a blatant screw up
