Special Guest v Burnley...

Signed from them wasn't he?

Quite liked Taylor tbh. Not spectacular but he scored a few big goals for us in the infamous Paul Hart season when we were asset stripped. A winner at home to Bradford which ended a LONG winless run and instigated a decent run to keep us up. I recall us actually finishing about 10 points off the top 6 which was remarkable considering.

It was the equaliser wasn't it?

He scored the equaliser in the first game against Walsall and then the winner v Bradford if my memory serves. Excellent in the air who (like Henderson) got unnecessary grief, but he's hardly at guest of honour status.

"They are right behind him now, having seen enough in his short spell in charge to realise that Kinnear is not after all the footballing barbarian of legend."

Bollocks. That's precisely what he was.

I was at that Walsall game...the only ever game that I went to with my mum

We had Nick Barmby on loan, my God he was rubbish. 'Struggled with the pace of the game' according to the Guardian, that's about the best description I could have given him.

Rumour has it the special guest for the sheep game is going to be Andy Impey. :1st:

Gareth Taylor returns to Forest after nine years.

Sounds about right from what I remember of his turning circle.

I remember him scoring a late(ish) goal away at Sheff utd when we have our blk/blue inter milan style 3rd kit.
I had that full kit, it was great for five a side.

We went to watch them train once my mate asked Taylor " Are you playing tomorrow?" He said " I'm not fit" my mate said that's " That's fantastic news"
