Snatchday 1: Nottingham Forest Vs the PGMOL

I suspect the matey nature of the VAR chat is part of the reason they are wanting this to be heard in private - We need to hear from Video Operator again, the one voice of truth and goodness at Stockley Park!
100% you just know it's going to be a car crash I bet there is no set communication protocols in place and as you said and we heard before it's like loads of mates shouting opinions out in a pub utter shambles please prove me otherwise PGMOL

Afternoon everyone, hope you’re keeping well. Here’s a short 3 minute video detailing why supporters of every team (not just Nottingham Forest) should be standing up against the PGMOL, Premier League, and football pundits. This could be a sliding doors moment not just for one club, but the entire sport as we know it. Glad to see Forest not backing down!

Brilliant - needed that

I was at that game & I really thought the player that Boly was supposed to have fouled was going to be red carded.......he came in late and over the ball. Boly clearly won the ball. He was given his second yellow & off he went. VAR though doesn't look at second yellows even when they result in a sending off. The decision was one of the worst of I've ever seen in football. It was so clearly wrong.
As I say Joe… total astonishment in the crowd that day. Totally ruined the game in many ways. Ironically Solanke should have got the headlines but didn’t because of corruption

I have to say, I'm actually quite (pleasantly!) surprised how much backing we are getting from fans of other clubs.

Everyone knows VAR (and FFP) in this country is shit and what its true purpose actually is. We are just the first club to have the balls to stand up and declare that this shit actually stinks (like shit does) and doesn't smell of roses.
This has really surprised me too; I honestly thought the knives would be out for us from other clubs' fans but from what I've seen I'd say the majority are backing Forest

I think the reaction by the mainstream media has raised suspicion as well. The way they are going after Forest hasn't escaped the average fan.

That tweet by Forest was at about 33 million views last time I checked. Whatever people think about the club, it has evidently stuck a chord with a lot of people.

It was at 44 million earlier today. The highest viewed tweet of the last 36 hours or so.

Worth a listen. I'm glad people are coming out fighting now

Simon Jordan is getting on my tits.

It's OK for the PGMOL to not release the audio clips publicly like they did for Luiz Dias because the Luis Diaz goal was a "systemic failure" whilst ours was "human error on a subjective decision"

One rule for the top six...

43.7 million views as of now

As you say whatever the rights and wrongs of it that Tweet has certainly grabbed people's attention

I still think it was a crass move from the club but there's no such thing as bad publicity I guess!

The way the media are trying to cover up the blatant corruption in the English game that everyone can see week in, week out (and not just with VAR either) is laughable. People aren't idiots, they have eyes and ears and can see what is happening right in front of them.

"The Party media told you to reject the evidence of your eyes and ears. It was their final, most essential command."

Let’s be clear, this is actually Forest’s attempt to be an influencer (with high post viewership) to thereby generate additional income in order to meet FFP. 4D chess being played.

I spent £150 for a hospitality ticket that day, and the game was ruined after twenty minutes.

I couldn't disagree with Simon Jordan more

Never mind releasing clips of the VAR audio after a mistake, the whole bloody VAR process and audio should be broadcast live into the ground in real time and on TV if the match is televised
There is literally no good reason why it shouldn't be. Unless they have something to hide?

People in a room somewhere away from the ground shouldn't be able to make decisions behind closed doors where anything can happen without any accountability and fans being none the wiser. The audio should absolutely be broadcast live, and be made available to the public after the game.

The British media of all people accusing anyone of being part of the "post-truth" era is laughable. Pot, kettle, black.
I’ve never read such bollocks in my life 😂. People can slander the more right wing papers and more often than not rightfully so, however that is up there with some of the worst out of touch waffle you’ll ever read.

Especially the Telegraph...who have a long record of accepting some of Trump's more laughable claims.
And many of these "news" outlets have enabled unprecedented levels of corruption in British politics also.

The press/media in this country have played a huge part in shaping the country into what it is today. If we are living in a "Trumpian, post-truth era" as they claim, well... they played their part in making it that way.
