Slow starters

The problem with Forest is that we're not just slow starters, we're also slow finishers too.

It's all about mid-table...
The problem with Forest is that we're not just slow starters, we're also slow finishers too.

Not to mention we're slow in-betweeners.

The trouble with analysis is you can point out bits and bobs to make a point and that's all well and good. What nobody on the planet can say is that we've been good enough for years no matter whatever manager or whatever players we have had to endure.

Need a good start to give us impetus for a change, instead of playing constant catch up all the time.

Not having a dig at Billy here but every club he has been at have all had poor starts to the season, in each of them he averages 2 wins from 10.

Because of the high tempo we play it's understandable that results may suffer slightly whilst the team get to top fitness in the 1st 10 or so games. The key thing is injecting that fresh impetus in Jan if needs be to ensure that we fly over the finish line and dont flag towards the end.

We'll see, but unless we're bottom 5 after 10 games ill judge us after 46 games, not 10.

I do like Davies to some degree, but I never bought this - It's how you finish at the business end of the season that matters.

I think thats just an excuse for his team's slow starts. Points are points. If you are top in November then you'll probably go up.
