Saunders Out (on bail)

Re: Saunders Out.

Would Saunders for the rest of the season (but no more than that) be better than the Gary? Looks like the most likely candidates are looking for a summer start so that may be the choice. Although, if Saunders reads twitter I doubt he would come (maybe if the money was right)

I really don't like the idea of Saunders.

Rather Frank Clark.

More seriously... SO'D for 8 games. He knows most the players, they like him... He probably wouldn't though.

I can't help but feel it isn't moving forward. We will end up making similar signings to what we have now. This club is crying out for someone new. This summer the deadwood can actually leave and we can actually replace them with a new type of player to suit a new type of manager.

Whoever comes in between now and the summer shouldn't be allowed to make signings that would become permanent anyway.

I wasn't suggesting SO'D permanently, just as a stop gap til the summer.

I liked SOD, but he would not come back and I don't see him as short-term fire fighter

Oh sorry I thought you meant permanent. I don't see the point in getting anyone in to be honest. I'm usually optimistic but this season isn't the one for us. We were so close and would be closer if we had a full team. It's painful but I really really can't see us going up

It's beyond a joke now we are a shambles but who do we blame if next season we are in a relegation battle will it still be Billy's fault the whole club is a joke.....

If folk are still saying "bring back Billieh" after every defeat then yes.

You seem unable to let it go. Perhaps you should move on yourself.

I know we already have too many points to be relegated, but my bet would be Saunders could still manage it.;)

Saunders failed in the playoffs with a very good Wrexham side, and managed to get his next two clubs relegated from the Championship. Wolves should have been challenging for promotion, not being relegated.

If they are even considering him for the managers job, I officially give up. Honestly, I can't think of a worse appointment. I'd rather McLeish back and that's saying something.

Re: Saunders Out.

If there any proof at all of Saunders being linked with this job? Does he even know about it? I heard a rumour Michael Jackson's ghost was approached about the vacancy, but he told Fawaz to "Beat it"
