I hate to say this but if Saunders gets the job then McGovern has a lot of questions to answer and I worry about Fawaz's latest advisor's ability to make sound impartial decisions. Former captain marvel or not.

I've no idea why McGovern is deemed to be the man to consult to be honest, he's still very much stuck in the past bless him, and hardly has an inspiring managerial record. :dunno:

Yeah did anyone see him interviewed by John Fashanu's daughter when she was doing that documentary on Justin... dear god he was frighteningly in the past, may as well of said 'we were all a bit wary in the showers when that great big black shirt-lifter came along'. We're just going to have to trust his judgement for now though Alf.

Despite his old-school credentials, hopefully he'll still have enough awareness of what the club requires to counsel Fawaz into making the right decision.
