One of those players that needed to be fully fit to be effective. At his peak was so positive for us and bit of a cult hero. End of Sabri reign seemed to playing with knocks which made him so immobile and walking yellow or red card. Wish him well, seemed good fella

Think David Vaughan suffered from the same thing. It’s not a position or area of the pitch you can carry a player either.

He was 2m + addons wasn't he? Those add ons won't have even been payed, and 2m on Marriot would have been better than 5m on Soudani & Da Costa.



No I haven't. I'm pointing out that even players you pick out as as bad backs of mine are still better than our awful recruiters of the past few years.

I respect and counter-adire that opinion Otis. As someone who's seen him play a significant amount of times, and who's main footballing contacts still working in the pro leagues are are at Sheff U, beg to differ.

But football's all about opinions, and I'm sure you've watched plenty of him and spoken to plenty of his ex-work collogues regards him too.

It's a shame.Sow and Soudani are good players but affected by injuries upon coming to England.

Marriott cost 3m but with add on,probably 4m by now. Soudani would have scored more than him if not for injuries.

You look at players like Samba Sow and think did they have the correct physical care when developing? did those clubs invest? I know luck plays a part but Sow could have been realy good
